this is the first article of this paper where I'm not the author of the text. Instead this article is written by someone who loves his country and takes a big risk by speaking up against this war. The words comes from a Russian, and not any Russian:

You are reading the words of an e-citizen who gave his heart to the great country of eRussia.
I have seen some eRussians mocking on you since the war started, full of egomaniac pride about eRussia, and I want to show you that not all eRussians, not even all the patriotic and fighting eRussians, have the same opinion about this war and its consequences. I am the Commander of the Foreign Legion, comprising about a 30% of the eRussian Army and its 2nd most important elite corps. But I write this as Ataman (President) of The Cossacks, a patriotic party you can know better simply looking at the eRep wiki.
We disagree with the course of this war.
eRussia is being used. And some of us realize this, and don’t like it.

But… trying to destroy the whole eUSA? Entering in Manitoba, Washington, Idaho? Attacking Canada? Are we doing this by ourselves, or are we puppets of PEACE? Considering that the revenge of the brave American people, if it comes, will be against eRussia, and considering that our own Motherland is occupied still by PEACE… considering that we know how it feels to be occupied and destroyed (the eUSA and eRomania made us learn this bitter lesson) and we do not wish this to anybody else… I do not think that we are doing the right thing.
A war? Ok. Some brave battles and then shaking hands and returning each other’s Motherland? It is reasonable. War can be fun, after all, in this eWorld. But… destroying the efforts of thousands of players, important hospitals and defense systems, breaking their hearts? For… what?
And this, of course, supposing that we win! FORTIS and EDEN are strong alliances, with brave people. We could lose. And the first ones to pay the price would be eRussia.
I fight in Idaho and I ask myself what the hell I am doing here. For sure not defending the best interests of eRussia, nor defending justice or a good cause. I am doing it because it is my duty. As a soldier and Commander, I will do my duty the best I can, respecting my enemy but not underestimating him, nor mocking at him, nor trying to humiliate him.

What can you do? You can speak with your Government. The eUSA should re-open the embassy of eRussia. The other Governments should write public declarations offering eRussia the best possible deal. And we will, in eRussia, try to convince our Government to rethink their position and at the very least demand a real compensation from eHungary and eIndonesia… or let their Goverments “show their real colors”.
Because we love our Motherland, and we understand that you all love yours.

🙂but I cannot regret the conquest of Alaska. It was Russian in RL, it was bought by the USA in the peak of power of the imperialism and a moment of weakness of Russia. It can serve as a security for eRussia and it is a reasonable price for the eUSA to pay for helping to wipe out our country as they did – those of you who remember history know that this is true, but I can quote the Government of the eUSA if you need. The eUSA did help eRomania to destroy completely eRussia, and I think that Alaska is a reasonable price for this.

It's just my opinion, but:
If the USA attacks Russia, it will try to get your original regions, so they activate you MPPs, and you can call the whole PEACE, so it will be PEACE vs. USA. If you occupied Washington, I think, you can defend your homeland with the help of PEACE.
About you PEACE-occupied regions:
As I know, Hungary is going to give you back the Urals.

The fact is, Russia is doing the heavy lifting and incurring the greatest risk in the war in North America.
True, the United States have not always been kind to Russia-- the battle in FER was fiercely debated in the US.
But meanwhile, PEACE holds Russia's highest resource territories.
When will PEACE be so kind as to return them?
In the meantime, Russia chases around the US military in barren western states, trying to nail us down.
For what?
We don't have any high-iron regions. Russia had high-iron regions, before PEACE occupied them.
The popular will of the American people is not anti-Russian.
It is anti-PEACE.
It is against the puppet-masters of PEACE, Indonesia and Hungary.
I don't expect Russia to change policy tomorrow.
But I think it's time for Russia to think hard about the next few months, and what they've gained and lost by the incursion into North America.

For almost all of our economies (whole world) to prosper and sell those accumulated stocks of products.
For the WHOLE NEW WOELD to have some fun!
For the eUSA Q5 hospital and defense companies to sell their products once again (eUSA has ~10.000G per month income, they can easily buy what has been destroyed (otherwise they tank their players to attack eRussia and PEACE once again)

@Ludako021 If you've got all those players why aren't you winning? Ask yourself that question.
The new guys will need time to level up and as they are not heavily taxed to death like the eAmericans to pay for the 'Elite' to tank and rack up a little bit more experience - They'll get there faster.
It also looks like (post-war) eRussia will be geting a high Iron region via region swapping.

I think Russia is awesome, but as long as they are puppets of PEACE, we have to fight them and we will never be discouraged. But it would be better if we two neighbors could lay down our weapons. We would even help Russia regain its conquered territories from Hungary and Indo. It is disgusting to watch the once proud Russian people having their high iron robbed from them, and then to add insult to injury, the thieves order the Russians about on the battlefield.

Russia dont pay a cent for this war ( Peace pays the bills for battle opening ). They risk what? They been conquered totaly 2 times by Atlantis. They been attacked more than that. So what worse could come for them from you?
What they Gained?
First Peace liberated 8 regions of Russia, and are negotiating to give back the remaining 3. ( Australia is got back one region and S.A is going to have one back. And not becouse Peace have to give it back. Its made in a deal between the countries )
This war brought 4000 Russian to the game ( before the war only 4000 Russian were and know over 8500 ). Dont say its not Russias war either 🙂.
Whit this war Russian babys can get wellnes, gain experiance and the Russian Army is getting stronger. And they dont need to spend a penny on it.

But don't misunderstand me: I wrote what I wrote for love to eRussia, and not any other reason. I am not anti-PEACE. Nor am I pro-PEACE. I am pro-eRussia, and that means to recover our Motherland.
Peacefully if we can.
Violently if there is no other way.
And yes, I dislike this war, but I will fight and obey orders because this is my duty. So... see you, honorable warriors of the other side. Until reason reigns in the world and this war is stopped... see you in the battlefield, and may the best win.

I'm grateful to see that some Russians are coming together and realizing they're being used. PEACE has done nothing but use you in the name of friendship. If you so much as ask, the first thing they say is, "we liberated you!". That is not fair. What gives them the right to divide a nation that isn't theirs? Stand strong Russia! I for one am willing to fight for a Russia free from PEACE. We've had our differences and there is still some things that need to be sorted, but I believe expelling the PEACE monster from your lands is the best place to start!

Its obvious that they are not going to give it back. For all those people who still cling to the tiny hope of that PEACE will get tired of the richest field of natural resources in the world, Just stop saying biased opinions, and look at the world from no ones views, just statistics. Russia is currently fighting more then four times more in this war then Hungry or Indonesia. What does Russia gain from this war? At best, a quick population boom that, lets face it people, will last about a month until (if USA gets conquered)all the RWs start finally winning, in which Russia will be put into sever lack of food, which will cause it's people to all either buy off foreign market, or leave. Also due to the fact that Russia's main oil field is located in Annexed west Siberia, most people wont be able to afford a moving ticket, causing mass death. At worst, Russia takes full blame of the war (if Russia is pushed out of USA) and will probably be the first if not last nation to actually feel retribution for the war, and peace will drop all connections with Russia, and most likely will dodge a bullet by sacrificing Russia.

I know I'm just a noob who has been in the New World just for three days, and on top of that, I'm a Spaniard. But I got my two pennies to drop here, though I actually don't give a crap about what's happening -not even for Spain-, as I've spend too little time here to make my own opinion.
I've been reading everything I could get my hands on about this world war: casus belli's, motives, provocations, etc, etc... and as far as I know, and I realise that it isn't too much, I just can extract one conclusion: eRussia, right now you just are a puppet government of eHungary and eIndonesia.
And I really think is sad, knowing the fight you given USA and what now are NATO countries in real life during almost the whole 20th century in RL. Yeah, yeah, I know that eRepublik is no RL, but, consider a couple of things, in RL you have a hell of a lot of population. I think it's a matter of time until that's reflected here. And the newbies that will come as i came here will say something like... "Where is the pride of Russia? How come we are just puppets of some little countries lost wherever?"

PEACE only mentions playing nice with Russia, like giving back its regions, when something like this comes up. They're scared to lose a front.
