Running for congress, and a new joke competition

Day 1,244, 22:25 Published in North Korea Germany by Kim Ol

Well, I’ve decided to run for congress in Hwangae, with the National Revolutionary Party of Kovolsky. Writing this may actually be pointless if I’m the only candidate in this region, because I’ll win automatically, but I’ll write it anyway.
Without trying to sling mud at anyone, four days ago, eleven people voted yes for an alliance with Taiwan. Now, there are eighteen members of congress, so where were the other seven? If I get elected, I’ll do my best to vote on every single law proposal (except maybe taxes and finance stuff that no one really understands, let alone me!). I’ll try to be one of the present eleven, not the others.
I think (disagree if you must) that I’m not as cynical as most people in North Korean politics – but then again I’m not naive enough to vote yes for a 25 KPW minimum wage.
Well, there you go. When you’re looking through the candidates for congress, and you see the ones which always get 10, 15 votes, please think of me.
If anyone wants to vote for me but isn’t in Hwangae, pm me and I’ll send you a ticket, no worries.
LONG LIVE eNORTH KOREA!

P.S This is my 'official' appeal, but it's a bit stuffy. I wrote this 'appeal' and I like it much better: Link

After the…interesting conclusion of the joke comp, I’ve decided to do another. The prize may be smaller, because my wallet has its limits, but there’s no level limit this time. Anyone can take part. More on the prize system later.
