Reviewing President Haliman

Well, yesterday was fun. SEES was under attack. The UIP. And, of course, the Libs. I think it was the most interesting PP election....since Emerick ran against Max Mcfarland 2 in the AAP. That is probably before most of your times. It reminded me of the fun eRepublik could be. Remember fighting in Hellokitty? Remember how almost adrenaline pumping it was? It could go either way, all day long. The last 20 minutes, we put in epic tanking and occasionally even berserked. All that to say, this last PP reminded me of this.

Have we drastically overlooked petty politics? Free elections are exciting! Of course, we are constantly under PTO threat, and that should be held to the light. If we're under PTO threat, then lets do the primaries, by all means. Remember when we did a primary for country president? Can you imagine how depressed we'd all be if we did that every single time for President? Why do we continue to do it for PPs?

It's exciting to have free elections. That's all I'm saying. Maybe we should do it more often. I personally miss it. What could be the harm? Primaries are boring. Elections are exciting. And this is eRep. I'll take all the excitement I can take, as long as it doesn't harm the country, of course. Maybe we should reevaluate our stance on this. Let's just start talking about it.

I would say it is now more than fair to start the criticism of President Haliman. He has been in office for quite some time now. Let's start the grade curve.

By far, the biggest complaint I have is the lack of quality articles. The lack of being informed. I really had no idea what was going on internally, or externally. I had to go around and ask people to figure out what was going on. I'll divide this into 2 sections, the internal affairs and external.

Internally, a lot has been happening. The Dep't of the Interior has just given out food to anyone under level 21. It has just come out with a new promotion. I've been told they are working on social networking projects. This is a good amount of work coming from the DoI. I approve of Justin McCravok, and the DoI. High marks here. I've never seen a supremely strong DoI, that gets excellent results. (i.e. actually gets a babyboom) This one is strong, as far as DoI goes. Haliman has also done 2 ask the President things, which are always nice. That bumps him up to an A.

Now, let's go to Media. By far, the poorest aspect of this administration. To be fair, I am always a harsh grader on this subject. Very near no administration ever has passed my test here. I haven't really seen any WHPR. That's fine with me, I don't particularly care for WHPR, but one every once and awhile is refreshing, just for a mix up. The President himself has had few articles. That would be alright with me if they were a little higher quality articles. I feel bad critiquing so harshly here. I like Haliman as a person, I do. But articles are an essential part of the game. It's how the President communicates with the people! There is no other way, really. If you are a poor communicator, you shouldn't be President in my opinion. The Vice President also hasn't put out many articles of quality, but VPs have a tendency to not do that. That wasn't taken into account.

Mandatory hot girl to break up the tl;dr

I also haven't seen much coverage in regard to all the DoI programs. Considering the lack of coverage in the past, alright. I'd like to see more. I give precedent of crappy coverage an influence, but who says it needs to be followed? In foreign relations, I haven't seen as much as I would like to, but I was told they cannot disclose more, and that is fair. All in all, in the Media category I will give Haliman a C+. Passing, but meh. Needs improvement, sir.

With the "PTOs" yesterday, the President probably needed to speak. He did. He said what he needed to. Passing grade.

Foreign relations is exciting. PANAM, Pakistan. Invading Iran. There is a lot going on, but again I don't know a whole lot about it. I'd like to know more, but I can understand that we can't. So, A+. It all appears dandy, but again. Communication. Invading Iran...I can't wait. It should be fun, and it's ground breaking. Argentina also jsut joined PANAM, so awesome. Groundbreaking, even. They haven't been on our side since ATLANTIS. So, Haliman gets a high grade.

Overall: I would give Haliman a B+. He could be an A president, if communication is stepped up. He has Panam, and Iran and the general exciting mixup of erep to make his term interesting. Not the worst President, not the best. He could be great, and I hopes he takes the time he has left to improve. o> friend.
