Review of Presidential candidates elections Dec ‘13

Day 2,205, 02:59 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Huey George

Introduction

Soon the citizenship of the eUK will cast their votes to decide who out of our Presidential candidates is the citizen we'd like to lead us as CP next term.

In this article I'll briefly review the candidates by giving them some positives and some negatives to hopefully help you inform your choice if as of yet you remain undecided. I'm not IRC active or particularly active on the eUK forums so this is mainly based on what I've glimpsed in the 'new world'.

I will also use this platform to carry out my party presidential duty to announce who the majority of the members of the Workers' Rights Party have decided to officially support as a result of our party discussions.

UPDATED SINCE INITIAL PUBLICATION to include some additional recent article releases by some of the candidates.

The Candidates and their supporting party/ies

*
Invalidation

*Unofficial but declared

The removal of the belief that everything involving the eUK is the responsibility of the current government
A stronger more independent Congress or conversely a less 'hands on' executive office
A more self-reliant based of citizens

Will struggle to unite the nation behind his leadership.
No details or plan of action on how this vision for the future will be achieved.
The changes he has outlined isn't necessarily something which the CP needs to concentrate on (anybody could be pushing this regardless of their role in society ), whereabouts foreign affairs will be very important next term which hasn't got much of a mention.*

Of course you can make you own mind up by reading his articles relating to his What makes the eUK? and Drawing a Line Under Reality articles.

*UPDATE: Additionally this article has been released The Essentials of Oral. An excellent approach to Foreign Affairs and Defence which improves upon the successes of past governments and strike-through part of one of my and probably turns it into a

ChewChewShoe (My personal choice)

Recognition that Government transparency is an important part of any fair community
Economic support to eUK citizens during times of discounts.
A plan for Government, cabinet, polices .etc. You may not like everything you read however you can be clear enough where he'll try to take us.

'A honours system'. No Gods, No Kings, Only Man has been a long standing belief of mine, all citizens are the same.
'An immigration committee.' Each individual member of Parliament (Congress) should have the knowledge and experience to act in the best interest of those they represent.
Government involvement in internal party politics, one word dangerous

Of course again you can make you own mind up by reading his articles Consilio-et-animis and Where eagles dare declaring intentions & government positions

*UPDATE: Additionally this article has been released Non Sibi Sed Patriae - Defence and Foreign Policies. An excellent approach to Foreign Affairs and Defence which improves upon the successes of past governments and another .

Of course again you can make you own mind up by reading his articles YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE, SAYS ATTICUS [PART UN] and THE DEFENSE OF THE REALM [CPBID]

Workers' Right Party Support
ChewChewShoe only just attracted enough out-right support for the party to back him officially (62.5😵. 'Who we would vote for' sparked a few fine discussions in the party with a number of supporters for both Invalidation and ChewChewShoe. As always with the Workers' Rights Party, our members will have the 'freedom' to cast their vote as they desire our official backing is just an indication of the majority will of the party. No monosyllabic chanting or 'three line whip' to tell our masses how to vote.

I hope you've found my review useful in informing your choice tomorrow and I'd encourage you if you have not done so already to read all the articles released by the Presidential candidates so far and to keep an eye on the media of the eUK for further CP candidate article releases and other CP campaign analysis. No doubt there will be more to come, which will help you further inform your decision on who is best to lead us as our next CP.

Also via this article you can find the details on how to attend a formal debate between the CP candidates.
