This is the article to which i responded.

First of all, what you say doesnt make sense, you say that Romania wasted a lot of damage that could've helped the front in America, well the numbers speak the truth and they say the following story :

1. Before the attack on Podolia, Romania did about a constant of 500k damage on americas side, while hungary did over a million each day.
2. After the attack, a lot of people spent a lot of gold on this and thats why Romanias damage spiked to 900k damage, it didnt spike because BNR financed a lot of tanks, it spiked because a lot of people gave free weapons and spent a lot of gold for this objective, so at the end of the day, Ukraine Hungary and the rest of their allies had to spend about the same damage as Romania, damage witch otherwise would've went against America.

You know what the difference is? The difference is that the damage that Hungary did in Podolia was normal damage... which means that 100% of what was spent in Podolia could've been spent in America, which is about 900 k.

Now Romanias damage spiked(i explained why), but normally, Romania would've done only 500k damage in America.

So what does this mean? well 2 things.
1'st thing is that Hungary wasted 400k more damage than Romania in perspective of the war in America
and 2'nd is that altho some poeple might say that "why didnt the romanians spend all their gold to America", this just simply proves that fighting for a national objective is very different than fighting through an MPP, it just goes to show that although MPP's are nice to have and they can help with a lot of damage, its not the same as each country fighting individually. For example, Spain has over 10 k gold (or it had, not sure now) but that doesnt mean they will spent 10k gold on tanking to help the USA, they do help the americans, but let's just say that if Madrid was attacked, gold would be spent at a completely whole level. It's the same as when Romania was involved in the war against Indonesia, altho USA was our ally, it's not like they gave everything they had for us, and i'm not blaming them for that, they did help us, and I thank them for that, what i'm trying to say is that fighting for your own country and fighting for somebody else(even an ally) is usually the difference between spending your hard earned 10 gold on WP's and q4 weapons or not spending it.

Now here is why i think that the attack on Podolia was actually a good thing, and not a bad one as you say :
1. It made PEACE waste just as much damage, if not more, than Romania did.
2. In the days of the battle for Podolia, america and canada actually won regions, so its clear if you look at the day when Romania won Podolia that it was a very good day for ex-Atlantis, and the attack did not ruin America or anything like that
3. It made many Romanians return home, so it solved a very old issue (internal)
4. It boosted our moral because we showed we're capable of winning against Hungary and mpp's, although its hard, we showed its possible. So, here's what i think

Everybody thought Hungary was invincible, that nobody could ever beat them, so losing against you guys was something pretty normal and expected, so it wasnt like you ruined our moral because you won over us with 4 MPP's, most Romanians knew it was basically impossible to hold Podolia for too long... but the fact that we actually managed to win 2 battles over you guys, had a much much greater effect for the population then the defeat, because it proved that we can, it proved that you guys are not invincible, and we defied every odd.

Now, about losing the Moldavian regions, first of all, the importance of those regions is only symbolic, in every other aspect the regions are highly expandable, they only made Romania waste damage because of the rw's and attacks on Ukraine's behalf, and they have no resources or population or hospitals, so basically useless except the symbolic value...

So id say that the attack on Podolia was a success on most levels.


Edit: I forgot to write about California, now, some may blame us that California was lost because Podolia, now, California was definitely not lost because of that, California would've never been lost anyway if it wasnt for Indonesia spending a LOOOOT of gold on tanking. When you spend enough money to do over 1 million damage of tanking then you kinda deserve to win the region. Although i still wonder where Indonesia got all the money from, because if you would calculate the amount of gold needed to do so much tanking (both in the case of California and WSR) and if you would check the reserves of the Indonesian bank, you could never come up with so much damage.. but i'm not accusing anyone, i think it's just an interesting little fact...
