Why was an error to attack Podolia?



The possibility of regaining Podolia


Romania draw herself and her allies into the trouble of regaining Podolia. From the beginning of the war, she was waiting for this opportunity, the small ray of hope, when the high iron region of Podolia can be attacked, the ironproducing stronghold of Romania.

The Romanian Military HQ about four days ago saw the opportunity for this action and they surprised pretty much everyone. After the events it can be seen that they were too impatient and they mismeasured their own power and possibilities, and the results of this are affecting not only them.

When the Romanians attacked Podolia, they thought that this is the big time to regain the immeasurably valuable and iconic region. They thought that only by raw power and with the PEACE powers engaged all around the world, they efforts will be crowned with success. They tried to recall the power of old Romania against Ukraine, Hungary, Indonesia, and Brazil. Needless to say that primarily against Hungary, but we all know that.

The attacks trigger was the Ukrainian President, who interrupted the continuous blocking of Romania due to some interesting ideas (independent Ukraine from everything and peace with Romania) and didn't followed the advice which were also protected Ukraine. This is past, no need to split hairs on the topic.

The Podolian War was quite elongated, it brought something like three days of fighting, where the Hungarian Military HQ with the leadership of President Kampec brought out pretty much the maximum, with sparing the Hungarian Armies power and Hungary's gold reserves. At the same time they achieved that on the Romanian side the most possible resources would be spent.

Ont the Romanian side some tankings reached even the 1000 gold level per tanking. The detailed military description hopefully will inform us about this three days, so I won't go in to details.



Main events of this three day war


The first day of the war started with a Romanian attack, which could be held only by great efforts so with the logical decision the Hungarian HQ let Podolia go, and started a counter attack from Dnipro, after the end of the battle on the second day.

The Romanians had to defend themselves and raised the wall with great power, Hungary fought with Romania one on one. But while on the Hungarian side the public gave the attack power, on the other side Romania can balance and create initiative only with golds. At that moment the decision of how to give back the region to Ukraine had to be made. (Two possibilities were keeping Podolia temporarily than free it with an RW or declaring war on Ukraine but that will cause the loss of several MPPs).

While Romania tanked a lot, according to common sense on the third day Ukraine attacked, with the extended MPPs Russia and France got involved as well. Success at the end with a bit of Hungarian tanking was easy.

With the activated MPPs the Ukrainian Front is advancing forward by occupying those Moldavian regions without Romania's last bits of power is disappearing.



The results of the Podolian three day war: Alberta (Canada), California (USA)


The fighting depleted Romania, and while her powers were concentrated here, on the American Front the PEACE powers (France and Indonesia) on the third day of the fighting attacked two larger regions which showed the possibility of success. France attacked Alberta in Canada with her MPPs and Indonesia took the enormous task of attacking California (Indonesia alone against 15 MPPs!!!)

After one and a half our of closing Podolia, PEACE raked in this two valuable trophies as well. The Romanian fights were missed here badly, which were wasted in Podolia for nothing.

Summarizing the whole situation, the Romanian attack and the opportunity what the hoped for instead of obstructing the war in America cause the opposite effect. Romania wanted to focus on their own goals while they can't or didn't want to concentrate on their allies, which was a huge mistake on their part.

The Podolian War which attempted to split the power of PEACE, blocked Romania and the split of the fighting power advanced PEACE only.




Results of the three day war for Romania:

1. They can lose all all Moldavian regions. There will be an occupied Moldavian region with active MPPs between Romania and Moldavia, Podolia's defence have never been stronger before.

2. The consumed their reserves, this latest failure in Podolia can be devastating on their moral.

3. The situation between Romania and their American allies will deteriorate.

4. Until the occupation of Moldavia, they will be engaged here and will be limited to fight in America.

5. Ukraine tied herself on the PEACE side and applied for a membership. This Romanian attack made it clear for Ukraine and her population the true nature of Romania. Ukraine can see Hungary's helping will and hand in the battles.





The three day war and the two American wins results for the world war:

1. Both in the USA and in Canada the loss caused serious population and company losses for both countries. Loss of moral is also an issue.

2. Indonesia successfully created a beachhead on the American shores and can attack from a much better position.

3. This successes will start serious political changes in FORTIS and EDEN countries, this can be beneficial for us, further weakening this countries.

4. the PEACE alliance gained a significant advantage, the possibility of winning the war increased.




Finally it can be seen that Romania caused the most important error in the world war with attacking Podolia. The PEACE with some tactic and the elongation of the Podolian War and the engagement of the Romanian powers not only defended Podolia but occupied two important regions in America. This can be decisive in the outcome of the war.

Romania got a step further away from getting "back" Podolia ever.
