Dear citizens of eEgypt!
Soon you will need to vote for the first president of eEgypt. Because we are a new eCountry this could be the most important elections in our eHistory. Vote wisely and let your voice be heart!
Although we have an excellent candidate (heboo) I thought it would be best if their would be an option, so my party decided to put me up as a candidate as well. You can read our reasons here.
In this article I would like to talk about my campaign goals as well as my vision for our first government.
Goals:
As we are a new eCountry we should easily be able to increase our population by 10% as well as increase our GBP by 10%. And as we are still save for a month it won't be a problem to keep all our original regions.
* To get our Economy started the state should invest in some state companies (food and grain production should be a priority). But we should also encourage private companies by having low VAT taxes and not lowering our import taxes to much. To reward our workers and attract new once we should keep the income tax as low as possible.
* To increase our population and get a bigger Society we should advertise in RL Egyptian forums and make our eCountry as attractive as possible. We should also promote our national forum, every eEgyptian should be a member. It's the place where can create our unique community and make the game more fun and interesting.
* Diversity is the key of a good environment, even in a game like eRepublik. Because of that we should welcome a multi Political spectrum and stay as far away from a mono political culture. The left and right should be present and no party should have absolute power.
* Because we are new our Foreign Affairs should be neutral (at least the first months) and we should send out as many ambassadors around eRepublik as possible. Because of this we should welcome foreign citizens to join our glorious eCountry and help us get known outside eEgypt.
* To make us strong enough a eEgypt Military should be set up.
My proposed government:
Economy
* Economics - Ministry of Finances
Getting a stable coin is very important. Setting a PEG and keeping the rate normal is the corner stone of a healthy economy. Closely monitoring and foreseeing possible problems is the message!
Taking care of the National Bank; Publishing regular news articles on progress and current state; Making sure the PEG stays stable; Taking care of any transfers; etc.
* Work - Ministry of State Companies
Every eEgyptian should have a job! It's the duty of the MoSC to insure this!
Having state companies can come in very handy in troubled times. The MoSC should set these up and maintain them.
Maintaining all state owned companies (raw products should be a priority); Publishing regular news articles on progress; Helping eEgypt citizens to get a job; Controlling the job market; Creating jobs where needed; etc.
Domestic and Foreign Affairs
* Allies & Enemies - Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Who is who. What is happening in the other eCountries?
Keeping us informed about international affairs; Working on MPP's; Helping us with training wars; Appointing ambassadors; Create communication with ambassadors arriving in eBe; Establishing and maintaining friendly contacts with other nations; etc.
* Immigration - Ministry of Immigration
Stopping PTO's at the root!
Investigate new citizen applications; Keeping the public informed; Contact congress with the advice to accept/deny a citizen; etc.
* Multis - Ministry of Multi Control
Keeping eEgypt clean!
Investigate suspicious accounts; Inform the public; Stopping multis; etc.
Community Building
* Education - Ministry of Education
Lets get eEgypt in the top most educated countries!
Create contests; Stimulate press and activity in the national forum; Improve the information flow; Teach new players about eRepublik basics; Collect and publish tutorials; etc.
* Arabic Education - Ministry of Arabic Education
Lets make this a unique community where English and Arabic stand next to each other. Help foreigners learn their first words of Arabic. Inform us of the unique Arab culture and make it fun to learn about Egypt.
Start an Arabic language course on the national forum; Help with Arabic translations of government made articles; etc.
* Growth - Ministry of Growth
Getting new Babies; Advertise eEgypt on other sites; Inform the public; etc.
* History - Ministry of Wiki
Collecting our history is an important way to learn from our mistakes and victories. Keeping our wiki current can make this possible.
Maintaining the eEgypt Wiki; Adding failures and victories; Archiving our political culture (congress members and list our CP candidates); etc.
* Fun - Supreme Ministry
The most important part of the whole experience. To have fun! Our Supreme Minister will see to it that our citizens are never bored. Contest will be created. Games started. Strange plots written...
Well that is it for now. I hope you like my suggestions and that our first CP will take them in consideration as well.

Some nice ideas. Not sure we need government companies just yet - every eegyptian has a job. There is currently not enough workers to supply the demadns of industry. We don't want to start stae companies that will deny our businesses of even more workers...
To start up state companies we should get the approval of the congress first anyway but at least we could start thinking of them. But I agree our first priority should be getting more workers.

Lol. Thanks for spotting that. I used my inspiration from my time I ran in eBe and it seems I forgot to edit that part. Now everything should be correct. If not let me know!

@Franz Kafka Although many eEgyptians have jobs if you worked at the low end of the economic skill level like I have most wages are very low as they barely cover the amount of health you lose a day. Maybe a State run industry could provide some competion and give our new eEgyptians some more money in their pocket. : )

Some of your ministries can be combined, it's honestly way too many departments for such a small country. But I love your intentions and optimism.
