Dear eEgyptian friends!

Today the Egyptian Freedom Party put me up as a candidate for CP. While we do not wish to win this election we do hope we will earn your trust and support. But if we do not wish to win why do we do it?

The answer is simple. We want to make a statement! A statement of political diversity as well as keeping the game fun and interesting.
Political diversity because one candidate is never the path to a true democracy, even if it is only eDemocracy. An election should be exciting and fun but where is the excitement if you only have one candidate to choose from?

I also would like to use this opportunity to introduce the Egyptian Freedom Party.
We are a new, left and libertarian party that wishes to give a voice to the corner stone of the eRepublik society, the workers and 2-clickers. All to much only the voice of a small elite of company owners reaches congress and the government. We wish to bring the message of equality, solidarity and freedom. Our priorities are affordable food, a strong community and more game play. Are you with us?

It's new and as we believe content is more important than looks we thought it was more important to open it before it is fully developed so don't judge a book on its cover and join us to make eEgypt the best eCountry in eRepublik!

voted...but don't you think that the things you have in the second picture have nothing to do with life in eRepblik but more like RL. Diversity in gov is cool and all but most of the "2 clickers" dont get involved. So I really don't know what your point is.

It's about the main idea, not the details ;}
Although most 2-clickers do not get involved it should be the task of the gov and congress to do everything in their power to get them interested. Also having bad working conditions (read low wages and few jobs) and high food prices discourages new players to keep on playing. So I do believe the gov and congress should make more decisions in best interest of 2-clickers. We need active workers and citizens. Not constant quitters!
