Winner
The Winner this week is Germany. There are other candidates such as Turkey and Bulgaria but both of these countries have been mentioned recently and I thought it was time to mention Germany. Germany have all but one of their home regions now (The only one they don't have is occupied for Slovenia for the time being). As many of you will know Germany have had problems with Spain/Poland and after they got liberated with the help of Phoenix Germany encountered a small baby boom. It looks as if this is continuing as although they only gained 348 citizens this week, it is a lot better than nearly everyone above them. Another reason why Germany has moved up this week is because they had some regions returned, but I feel that Germany deserves winner this week for it's continuation of having good booms but not being mentioned here a lot. Rounding off the other stats Germany moved up 1 place to be 19th with a growth of 5.9% so congratulations Germany!
Loser
The Loser this week is unfortunately France.
🙁France are sort of in the same predicament as Germany when they were attacked by both Spain and Poland. However, although they were wiped off the map they are now back with almost all of their regions back. An effort was made to try and get back Rhone Alps a few weeks back but Spain unfortunately managed to succeed in that battle. After Poland managed to get back Paris a new baby boom started, I even made France the winner in this article a few weeks back and got confirmation that it was a government initiative to try and get new players. So you may be asking why I'm putting France as losers if this all sounds positive. The reason for this is because they have reached a high point and now are losing a lot of accounts that are dead babies from the boom. France lost 1223 citizens this week moving down two places to be 15th and has a contraction of 12.59%. Sorry to see that you've had a bad week and hopefully this is the worst of it and you can get back to a positive figure next week. Good luck France!
😃
Graphs
As you can see from this graph the top 20 countries are shown. Using this graph you can clearly identify where the biggest changes are. Significant blips are explained briefly below:
Poland - Dead babies from baby boom
Russia - Lost regions to China
USA - Lost regions to Russia
Bulgaria - Baby boom
Turkey - Took over some of Israel and small baby boom.
France - Dead babies from baby boom
The only Country that stands out from this graph is:
Venezuela - Took most of Mexico's region to help them minimize the affects of a Poland PTO
The Countries that stand out from this graph are:
- Slovakia - Lost a region
- Austria - Lost regions
- Philippines - gained back regions
- Mexico - Lost regions to Venezuela
Active Citizens
Using a census website I was able to find the amount of citizens that are above 40 wellness and are currently employed. I tried to make it based on citizenship but it's very difficult and it makes the stats inconsistent. Sorry to those who suggest it.
🙁
- The average active citizens percentage is 42.76%! This means over half of the citizens become inactive and do not stay in this game long term.
🙁
- Mexico has the highest active percentage figure but this is inaccurate because it hasn't been updated for a day or two. The most active percentage that is accurate is India with 63.85%! This is a big increase for them. Congratulations.
- The lowest active citizen percentage is Pakistan with around 5%. Once again due to bugs in erepublik it caused Pakistan to be without a region for more than it was supposed to so this figure is sorta wrong. The nearest accurate figure is probably Philippines who have a 20% active rate. that means only 1 in 5 citizens is active (which is very bad for a small country)
Other Notes
- The gap between Poland and Brazil is just over 4000 citizens. It was 6300 last week.
- Venezuela and Bulgaria gained over 1000 citizens this week. Congratulations!
😃
- Poland, Russia, Indonesia, USA, Mexico, Greece and France all lost over 1000 citizens this week. That is a a lot of countries!
- Overall this week the new world lost 14676 Citizens with a contraction of - 3.97%. We're still losing a lot of citizens each week but the good news is that we lost less this week both population and active population wise which is an indication of improvement.
😁
Phoenix Versus EDEN
I have kept this section as it received positive comments last week. This time I have included a little bit on the end which includes the countries that are not officially in the alliances but are sort of unofficial members. (Please tell me if I have missed anyone out!)
These tables show the different countries in the two major Alliances Phoenix and EDEN. From this you can see that:
- Brazil, Serbia and Poland still lead the way in their alliances in regards to population + active population
- The difference in population is 54841 in favor of Phoenix (Up about 1000 this week), however in active population this is only 17167 (Down by 500)
- With the unofficial members the difference in population is 30443 in favor of Phoenix, active population is 6750 in favor of Phoenix too.
- Even with EDEN's unofficial members included, Phoenix still has a higher population without France.

Great article!
Don't add India to EDEN, their government has announced a position of 'neutrality', but Italy to Phoenix and Peru (constant PTO) to EDEN (both are MPPed up and their damage can be significant in battles)
A good read as usual.
>> The average active citizens percentage is 42.76%!
Much too generous definition of activness... counting in all the dead workers. The average voting citizens is 19.52 for example.
very informative, thanks
