Eden wins all battles, new article about the great success.

After the contested battle of Liaoning, both Alliances kept the war cool for a while, but after Eden made moves to disrupt the land bridge under construction in central Europe and begun threatening Serbia’s crown jewel by starting a declaration of war in order to challenge them in Asia, Phoenix decided that retaliation is necessary. A wave of surprise attacks swept the Globe today as Russia attacked China’s infamous Heilongjiang alongside with attacks on Jilin and Inner Mongolia, saving only Xingjiang from the border regions for future blocking attacks. France collaborated with Phoenix, launching two major attacks on Aquitaine, where the residence of Yours Truly is also located, and Rhone Alps, the site of many famous battles. The battle for Rhone Alps is currently the main event of Day 911 as Phoenix forces swept the 600k wall facing them in to oblivion and dragged it under 1 million, making the defending a dire task for Spain and Eden.

These 5 PHX attacks on major targets are accompanied by distraction RW😒 and blocking attacks, tying the hands of many Eden nations from launching their own harassment attacks.

France strikes Spain’s wood colonies.

The unsuccessful attack on Slovenia and the failed plan to land swap Croatia to the shores of the Atlantic and beyond left an impressing MPP-stack for Slovenia to take in to use against Poland, whose wood colony of Rhone Alps directly bordered Italy, a close ally of France and a member of the Entente, a sub-alliance aligned with Phoenix. After a failed attempt, Slovenia managed to conquer Rhone Alps on the second try in the second largest battle ever fought in eRepublik. Slovenia wasn’t able to return the region to France in time though, as Spain put their very existence in stake and attacked Brazil in order to get a chain reaction war with Slovenia, which they took in to use immediately and invaded Rhone Alps from Slovenia, putting it under Eden observation ever since.

The attack against Brazil launched a war between France and Spain, too. France once challenged Spain over RA, but without MPP😒 they lost by a landslide against the much more powerful adversaries. France however didn’t lose hope, and naturally made closer ties with the enemies of Spain and Eden in order to reclaim the region. There were speculations of Hungary being transported next to Rhone Alps, being a nation more powerful than France and having better chances to win the battle. The plan, if it never existed, was however scrapped as there are too many variables in transporting Hungary through the very unstable Central Europe, where smaller nations are often forced to serve the bigger ones when they require land swaps.

The recent battles over Austria are speculated to be the foundations of a PHX-land bridge, either transporting Hungary to Southern France or Slovenia/Hungary to the borders of Poland to give them the possibility to attack them with their MPP-set. Theoretically Hungary could later be swapped through the entire Russia and in to Heilongjiang, if Russia manages to conquer it.

A somewhat less ambitious motive for the swaps is a bid to stop the foreign forces with evil intentions from robbing Austria. According to the articles in the Austrian media I’ve lately read, there is a Croatian PTO taking place in Austria, and they were targeting to propose a law transferring considerable amounts of the local currency for themselves. The coffers of Austria were full, and a proposal to buy infrastructure with the maximum price would still have lead currency being up for grabs, as you can only bind an amount of 99,999 with the infrastructure proposal. Therefore Austria handed several regions to Slovenia in order to reduce the amount of money in the national account, as the victor of a battle is entitled to a certain amount of money, thus lowering the amount of cash in Austria’s coffers and giving the natives the possibility to save the rest by binding them to a vote of buying new infrastructure.

France has grown a lot from the disordered nation they used to be, suffering from treacherous presidents and failed foreign policy leaving them without friends during the Spanish invasion. They made the most damage in the successful Slovenian attack of Rhone Alps, and they’ve grown to be a battle-hardened nation with effective mobile forces.


Not the case in eRepublik.

Phoenix trusted them to spearhead the attack, and yesterday on Day 910 France launched a dual attack against both outer possessions of Spain. Spain faces the hard decision of prioritizing their defences, as both regions are valuable, but Aquitaine is more of a Spanish region than Rhone Alps, which was controlled by Poland for several months. Unless Aquitaine is severely challenged, the main war effort should go to Rhone Alps. Currently the Spanish battle orders are asking for citizens to hold fights.

The battle is very promising for France after 6 hours of fighting as a massive tank operation leaded by Russians drained the wall in the first minutes, and the wall currently sits at -1050,000.

Russia attacks China, raising worries of a dead-end for USA.

Russia continued the Phoenix offensive by attacking the Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Inner Mongolia. Currently the battles seem to be damage drains, as even the general population of Russia is asked to accompany the tank forces in the attack on Spain. However Eden is taking the threat seriously, as they do not want to fall prey to a surprise tanking similar to the epic liberation of Heilongjiang nearly three weeks ago. Currently the populations of Romania and USA are ordered to defend China, leaving Rhone Alps for Poland and Spain to be dealt with.

Should Phoenix pay attention to the war in China, they could create dire circumstances for USA as they prepare to launch an attack on Serbian Liaoning. If attacks on Chinese regions succeed, Phoenix might be able to create a pouch around Heilongjiang, exposing it for future attacks and to an utopian, but theoretically possible Hungarian land swap through Russia. More instant gain from invading Inner Mongolia is the possibility to block China infinitely, as Inner Mongolia borders several low-populated Chinese regions. If China is blocked, it’ll make U.S land swaps harder to execute.


A situation undesired by Eden.

Currently the battles for Chinese regions aren’t hotly contested with China leading considerably in HLJ and Russia having a slight lead in Jilin and Inner Mongolia.

USA declares war to Serbia, attack on Liaoning impending.

With the game finally being fix’d, the President of the United States was able to initiate a vote of declaring war to Serbia. As was seen in the Chinese attack few days ago, Allied forces lack enough punch to go through Serbia’s defences unless backed by a citizen base compared to Serbia’s, something China lacks. USA also has a time zone advantage against any European nation, forcing Serbia to either stay up late or build the wall early on, thus showing their hand first. However from the simple tactical situation of Liaoning being a sitting duck for USA to attack, Russia is stirring the pot with possibly successful attacks against China. Apart from acquiring the possibility to hold the initiative, Russian presence in Jilin connects Heilongjiang and Liaoning yet again. Should Serbia lose the battle for Liaoning, attacking a dummy nation would open war between Serbia and Russia, possibly providing them access to HLJ and forcing USA to stretch their forces again in a 1vs1 battle. This tactic was used when Serbia was initially brought in to the middle of China.

Phoenix is embracing for the blow by blocking USA in Southern Thailand. This will delay USA with several hours and an attack on Liaoning might very well be postponed for a few days. Having control over Mindanao and Southern Thailand is exposing USA to a permanent block, and USA has to get rid of these regions, preferably both. Otherwise Indonesia will have the duty of keeping USA blocked for eternity. This means USA must also retreat from Shandong for a while in order to keep Serbia from attacking and conquering it. Shandong is the only region where USA can reside and launch attacks on Serbia without being blocked, as Inner Mongolia is bordering Russia and USA does not want to cease control of the Chinese capital. Due to the war dec coming from USA, they will however gain a 24 hour period of initiative over Serbia.

The goals for Eden in the Asian theatre for the next few days should be keeping Russia out from China and handing the regions of Mindanao and Southern Thailand to be safeguarded by someone else than USA. This will give USA open hands to mount an attack on Liaoning, otherwise they are heading for a tactical dead-end.
