Battle Results

In Asia,
The resistance war started in South Korea's Jeollanam-do region has been secured by Japan.

War Update

North America
In a push to rid the continent of the last PEACE GC aggressor in North America, eUSA has launched an attack on the Hungarian-occupied Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

In Europe,
Battles are currently confined to Scandinavia, in which Sweden has launched an attack on Norway's Russian-occupied Svalbard & Jan Mayen. The Swedish-occupied Danish region of Nordjylland is currently under attack by eUK. There is currently also a "battle" between Finland and Norway. Due to the "war declaration" between Finland and Norway, our MPP with Norway has been activated, but eUS citizens are asked to stay out of this battle because Finland and Norway are both allies who are merging and they are utilizing the war module to effect this. This is not a true "war" and our citizens are asked to participate in other battles and allow the Finland-Norway battle to run its course.

In Africa,
A resistance war (RW) has been started in South Africa's Brazilian-occupied North West Province.

Due to the rapidly changing nature of the battles in the war going on at this time, all military personnel are to follow this protocol when deciding where to fight:

Military Only
1. Direct orders given by your CO via PM ECHOs (only orders issued by your chain of command are acceptable). These are the most specific and relate to the particular military unit or platoon you serve in.

2. If no direct orders are given, then follow orders in the military forums according to the specific branch of the military you serve under (Home Guard, Army, Marines, MI, etc).

3. If updated orders are not posted, then military personnel are to follow orders posted in the joint military orders section, which is for the military in general and is not specific to individual branches.

4. If updated joint military orders are not posted, then military personnel will follow Civilian Orders.

Civilian Orders
Civilians (citizens not enrolled in the military hierarchy) should subscribe to, vote up and follow the Department of Defense Battle Orders which are updated daily and sometimes multiple times per day.

eUSA Order Broadcast System

Are you a citizen who is receiving orders about where to fight on your home screen? If not and you use Firefox as a web browser, subscribe to the eUSA Order Broadcast System. These battle orders will be updated several times a day for citizens who are not in the military. Military personnel, however, are to continue to follow the orders issued on the forum and through your chain of command. If you do not have Firefox, you can also see the daily citizen battle orders in the eusforum.

Office of the Secretary of State

Our Secretary of State (SoS), Wade Seagrave, is currently working on several things which will streamline our Department of State (DoS). The DoS is currently seeking more citizens to serve as ambassadors to other countries. We had many ambassadors in the past but some have become inactive and we are looking for more active citizens to fill some of the gaps that were left behind. If you would like to become an ambassador or are simply interested in our relations with the rest of the eWorld, read our SoS's State Department Address.

Meals on Wheels

One of eUSA's most successful government programs to date, Meals on Wheels has for the last 6+ months helped ease the transition of new players into our nation. One of the early arguments against having high taxes to strengthen our military to be able to defend ourselves in war was that our newest citizens would be taxed to the point of not being able to afford food to survive. The game mechanics of eRepublik do not allow people of different incomes to be taxed differently - all citizens are taxed the same regardless of income. The answer to this dilemma, which was solved during former President Uncle Sam's administration, is Meals on Wheels (MoW). MoW provides food to our newest citizens for the first couple of days while they have no skills to get higher paying jobs. After they've worked for a couple of days, the citizens then have enough skill to get higher paying jobs to be able to afford food on their own.

A subdepartment of the DoI and currently run by James Strife, this is one of our longest lasting, most successful programs which operates mostly from donations from our wealthier citizens who want to see our nation succeed. As good of a program as it is, it can only be effective if people know of its existence. This program is available only to eUS citizens. If you are a new citizen of eUSA who is losing wellness each day because you are unable to afford food, then sign up for Meals on Wheels.
