Official Statement On The Austrian PTO By A.Emmerich

Day 1,544, 05:27 Published in Hungary Serbia by Voice of eHungary

Dear Readers,

As you may know, A.Emmerich (Lord Dexx) and his fellows, named kurucs formed a good relationship with the Austrian community. He managed to become a president as earlier numerous Hungarian players. However after having been elected to president he declared the Austrian Empire to have come into existence. This made the Austrian inhabitants furious. He even made a gesture towards Hungary in his statement in which he offered to hand Burgenland over to Hungary. Burgenland's status is debated in Hungary for long time. A.Emmerich made some Hungarian players (such as Akitlosz, Eheslo) and the minority of the kurucs remained in Hungary to support him. The great majority of Hungary, including the National Front in Hungary, became angry. The situation became more serious when recently President Gewru (Poritomi) and Dexx agreed to publish a statement on the peaceful coexistence and cooperation. But its main topic was in fact Emmerich's offer about Burgenland.

Austria's population and politicians apart from the kurucs are watching the developements with worry. Austria helped Hungary in the past several times with region swaps, declaring NEs and they think A.Emmerich humiliated them with his PTO and extremist rethorics. This question is not only about Burgenland, but our relationship with the independent country of Austria. Among others former CP Rangeley has criticized sharply Emmerich and asked for information from the Hungarian government about his PTO in a letter.

The diplomatic situation is very fragile. We would be not only impolite and ungrateful with Austria, but there is a high risk that the EDEN would take the advantage of our hostility in the ONE. In this situation Hungary's eminent interest is to maintain the good fellowship with Austria. The "common" statement composed by Emmerich has been published by President Gewru too rashly and that's why has been erased shortly afterwards. The government would like to cooperate with the Austrian government much more carefully taking into consideration our allies' feelings and the Hungarian interests at the same time. We are calling President A.Emmerich to respect the good Austrian-Hungarian relationship and refrain himself from disregarding Austrians. He should find the gaming experience not in stirring up hostility, but in supporting the real Hungarian interests.
