This is the (brand new) official bulletin of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Government of eHungary.


About Takeovers

There are words spreading about worldwide TOs by Hungarian squads, so we wish to clarify and state some facts and intentions as the leaders of the largest Hungarian parties.

The rumors are spreading and people seem to fall for the most outrageous exaggerations or complete lies. We intend to stop it.

First of all Hungary was, is and will be a pillar of PEACE. We do NOT want to take over any friendly country, anybody claiming that is clearly trying to make a rift in our alliance to exploit later.

There are many debates in Hungary whether TO is part of the game or not, even though for the time being it seems we have to live with it. Even if we resort to using TOs, we will do so to avoid being cornered by Rumanian-controlled puppet states - if you watched the news you know exactly what we mean.

It is true that some Hungarians travelled to smaller foreign countries seeking easy gold as elected members of congress. They are young players who are pirates of the eRepublik, causing some trouble, but they can be easily countered and pose little threat even if some succeed - which is very unlikely since they receive no support and can rely on their own resources only.

We cannot controll every citized who claims himself Hungarian, however we will make sure that those who do not comply with official Hungarian policies will be isolated and deprived of any means to carry out their actions. We will do all in our power to dissolve any unofficial parties in friendly countries. They are not supported by the Hungarian government.


About Alliances

Yesterday evening there was a flame, speading through erepublik, that eHungary will maybe swap its alliance. That is nonsense. The idea was put into the news by the former Hungarian president, who no longer enjoys the support of the country as currently she holds no office, whatsoever, therefore it is no way official Hungarian opinion.

We trust in our allies, and we are loyal to our friends and we never betray our allies!
