It's official now. The North American University is starting registrations. You can haz registration! Along with five of the classes from the ended early last term (World History, Military, Game Mechanics, Journalism, Business & Economics) we have three new classes that have been created (Politics, Internet Relay Chat, and Newb Tutorial). Despite having to end the last term early we believe we have found a creative solution to the inactivity that caused the closing, which you can read about further down in the article.

Routine

Though a few classes are unconventional, there is a typical routine to which our professors stick to.

The Routine: IRC is used for a lecture and typically a brief question and answer session, homework is typically assigned through either Moodle or just for copy/paste on IRC, and test/quizzes are run the NAU: Moodle (Moodle is a kind of forum mixed with google documents).

Term

We have a standardized size of term now to help keep schedules, well, scheduled. A term is three weeks long. This term will begin on Monday 1st of March and will end on Saturday 20th of March. Remember when filling out the form to register to check class schedules and outlines to be sure you can make it to classes and know how much work is ahead of you.

Tuition

There is a flat rate tuition, meaning one or seven classes would cost the same amount. The tuition fee is 20USD. However, as long as you finish and pass the class(es) that you had registered for you will be refunded 15USD at the end of the term.

NOTE: You will be messaged after registration about tuition.

PREVIOUS TERM STUDENTS: Since we had some problem last term and would like to make up for it, you will be refunded all 20USD upon completion and passing of the class(es) you registered for.

NOTE: We are not running registration for the Newb Tutorial class, as it is a unique and almost autonomous class.

You can begin filling out this form to register on Monday the 22nd of February & registration will end on Saturday the 27th of February. To sign up for one or multiple classes please read the text linked on and fill out the empty boxes on this form.
