I imagine there is a lot of confusing stuff going on right now, based on the PMs I am receiving, so I wanted to do a quick article re-emphasizing some stuff, as well as introducing some programs.

Current DoD orders say to hold fire, considering we have a war declaration with North Korea in progress, its probably a good call!

NAU Signups

North American University (NAU) is a player created university for americans. It is free of charge and will provide you a greater understanding of eRepublik taught by some of the best players available.

Class options vary from Economics to Game Mechanics to Journalism, etc.

Classes will be available via IRC and Forums, depending on teacher preference.

Joining the Military

Joining the eUS military can be a great way to meet some fellow americans, make a difference in battles, and get some free guns while youre at it. I recently got a PM requested info on how to join and what the different branches are. Fortunately there is an up to date eUS forum thread with that information all ready to go, which I wanted to share with all of you who may not visit the forums much.

Some of you may have noticed that the forums were down, coincidentally during a major battle in the eUS.

Forum administrator Killing Time has announced that the forums were subject to an illegal (in RL) DDoS attack, the details can be found within this article, which I encourage you to vote up so that more people understand why we have faced issues with our forums recently

Pay to Train is staying

Faux outrage and voted up articles isnt changing it. Please stop voting up useless articles that knock off legit journalism or important public service announcements

Because we know the .5/1/1.8g cost scheme is staying, its important to spread the news that you should only buy the 1.8g training sessions, even if it means you cannot afford to do it every day.

Do NOT take jobs at iron companies!

We have no intentions of keeping LionKing, so congress has raised iron income taxes to 50% to discourage our economy from absorbing those companies.

If you take a job with one of those companies, you will be unable to quit for 3 days, and will be taxed at a rate of 50%, while providing labor to enemy companies.

American land workers should work at Wood, Oil, or Grain companies only!

The Department of Fun requests all americans say hi to someone who admitted on IRC that he spammed the pistols for pandas application in an attempt to make the program fail

While this may or may not be true, its always nice to be friendly with other citizens on erep, regardless of allegiance or citizenship 😃
