Today, around 2 hours ereptime, the admins made an immediate announce of the new MPP rule. No one-day warning, nothing, just an ingame PM and a 'now' message on the game support channel, during the time of the presidential interregnum.
The Chaos arrived. No more tactical element remained in the war module of the erep. No tactics, no brain - just the brute force, and - as the limits in gold purchasing (formerly it was once a week) and in wellness pack usage (formerly it was 40, then 100 a day) it is just the pure RL money.
This was the final coup de grace to our good old eRepublik. This is a mere slot machine instead. The chaos at the end of the age of Imperial Rome.

time to say good bye, 20 mths of planning and scheming to survive has now been made pointless by the admins, you play by the rules of the game and then the rules changes leaving your country to die at the hands of the credit card men, shame was fun whilst it lasted!

Alexamy: you can conquer ANY region if you are ready to invest more RL money than your opponent. It is also true the other way round.
@Zaeban Covek: I am in a process of writing a Slashdot article. But I will mail the content of the article or hopefully the link if they publish it to the email (AGF Private Equity e-mail: contact@agfpe.com) in the article linked by you. I do agree the investors should be targeted and told about the total incompetence of eRepublik staff.

I hope that these guys get what they deserve, and I also hope that before they realize that they lost the most important element of the game (the players) they go bankrupt.
