The positions I'd choose:

Their jobs:



VP: Basically to back up the CP and replace him if he is not online, help crack the whip on the cabinet members so that work gets done, attend meetings, etc, etc. The VP is one of the most dynamic Cabinet members, imo.

Mo😨 Attend EDEN/Terra summits for planning, issue battle orders through PMs to Captains and MU commanders, issue orders to the public through the MoI newspaper. Coordinate battles, RWs and evaluate the importance of a battle over another. One of, if not the most important Cabinet member.

MoFA: Attend EDEN/Terra summits to give Canada's stance and opinion, get the appropriate Cabinets from as many nations as possible, coordinate the ambassadors.

MoF: Prepare the budget for Congress to approve. Work with the MoD and CP to determine which region to attack (MoF would say if this region gives us a better bonus or a more necessary bonus).

MoI (information): Inform the public using the Battle Orders newspaper, keep the public updated on Congress and Cabinet ideas/laws/motions/acts. Give the public the impression (hopefully true) that the administration is active and making progress.

MoI (immigration): Provide the standards and laws regarding CS acceptancy and eligibility. Establish a team of CS vetters to be used by Congress to minimize PTO risk. Citizens planning to stay longer would have priority over those coming to build companies.

MoE: Use part of the budget (if Congress approves) to fund new players and improve player retention by setting up a group of people willing to PM new players to spark interest. Manage the various charities in eCanada.




Why are they important?:

VP: Cause without them, the country would be a headless chicken whenever the CP isn't online (which, unless they're a zombie and have unlimited bandwidth is fairly often) and would have no immediate backup. The CP would likely also be overwhelmed by the workload if there was too much.

Mo😨 Without them, the country has no military coordination larger than one MU. MUs cannot join forces and win a battle (mind you MUs can win battles alone). Military planning would be out the window if the CP is an economic player or a super roleplayer. A good MoD can save the nation, a bad one can doom it.

MoFA: They are needed to strengthen relations between allies, help recruit new allies, and express the country's opinion on certain matters.

MoF:They are often the sole person who can talk to congress that has a deep understanding of game mechanics and economics and bots. They are needed to offer advice to congress on taxes, and to prepare some form of organized spending.

MoI (information): They are useful for getting orders out to the public and also giving the public the impression that things are running smoothly. They control government propaganda 😛 Some of the best liked CPs are Sperry and Addy, because they kept the public so informed.

MoI (immigration): They can help stop PTOs with Congress. This means that they can save the country if needed.

MoE:: Improve player retention, which is necessary because without player retention, you have no players. They send money to help improve our land so we can fight better and therefore make the MoD's job easier.
