Dear eAus Citizens,
I'd like to thank ARP who made it possible to me be a congress member the third time and also for selecting me to represent them in the upcoming elections.
This will my second article in my the campaign for the presidential elections.
My future cabinet is still in formation, so please be patient as some positions are still waiting to be filled.
First of all I'd like to have a very active term as we are still in war which requires activity.
As for internal affairs I'm going to focus on the integrity of the country, like it or not we are a cosmopolitan eNation which is good as it is, but people have to more patient and understanding to each other. There are plenty of dissension among players, we have to work on that for sure.
I also would like organize common fights ( meaning hit for Aus or allies together at the same time ) on IRC in a time period when it is suitable for most of the players.
We can be very satisfied with our foreign policy, I will keep going with that, billions of damage are dealt for us in our war against e Indonesia, but I'm missing some acknowledgements towards our allies, more article will be published to do appreciate what they are doing for us! Also we need more information passed to them according to the plan we would like to follow. So it won't happen again that quite a lot players who would be tanking for us are dealing damage on the other side, just because they weren't well informed.
Financing our war is a crucial questions always, I'm trying to find the most effective way how the money coming in from the eAustralian people can be given back. I'm thinking about making a MU (from my own money) which would be only 1 member the current president ( if not available can make it 2 by giving access for the vCP), who can put CO for every battles which needed so. It's not a new invention as there are nation already using it. I would keep the current MPP stack plus add eHungary.
I would love to see ADF and the programs which meant to support our youngsters to keep going, but Dr Hugh and Claire are likely to leave us which is understandable after what happened. I'm still trying to convince them to stay and continue their great work for our eNation.

Mate, we already have a National MU in the ADF which is used for Combat Orders in battles. No need for you to make another MU. 🙂

How many times did u see ADF put CO?
As the President should decide on that the best and easiest way is he puts the CO, like Flatty did that in WarCrew several times, but that conflicted a bit as it was a private MU, so 2 options appear: The president run the ADF as a commander or making a National MU where only the president is the member and only he can put in and out money.
The ADF would have more CO if they had a better budget. It all comes down to how much cash is available to them. Making a new MU won't help that. The ADF is accountable directly to the Govt.
just to point out here, the CP cannot 'run' the ADF MU. Keep with your idea of a separate entity.
Everytime the ADF was asked to use C.O they were used. Some say there was a lack of C.O from the ADF but that was not down to the MU staff 🙂
Binda the ADF has its own role..as the Marshal also. The budget for the ADF is a different story, money for CO is totally dependent from ADF, so that is why it should be separated.
I don't particularly mind the idea of an MU for CO's. I think that the ADF Marshall should still have the position of Commander within the MU.
Often COs being set can be delayed simply because there isn't a Commander online at the time. A separate MU cuts out the middle man so that the CP can set a CO whenever they feel it is acceptable.

Hugh in my opinion its not the ADF role to put the CO. And I know it wasn't up to the ADF stuff if there was any.
I'm just saying that the ADF is owned and operated by Govt staff, so paying for a new MU isn't really necessary and is a bit of a waste of gold. The CP here has every right to tell the ADF to set a CO and can budget for the ADF MU to do so easily. I'm not suggesting that the funds come from the running of the ADF, as they would be on a separate budget line accountable by the DoD. The ADF is our own Govt run MU.

Well if the CP has a MU for only one reason to put CO there won't be more excuses. I know this term is not a good example, we all know why🙂
Csanat, you can't really use any comment of Mick's as a good reason. He's proven to be a bit of a fibber... If you want to spend your own gold on an MU, I don't really have an objection, I just hate to see gold wasted when it shouldn't have to be.
It took me a while to get what you meant about the Combat Orders... these new fandangled toys you kids get to play with.
Creating a new MU simply for assigning CO's is an interesting idea and would make sense since the ADF MU is a non political entity.
I will be interested in seeing how your ideas develop over the campaign.

I agree with Binda but just make sure whoever accepts the job of the ADF has a budget already in place and ready to distribute. Sadly since Claire was sacked there has been no supplies distributed and i hope for all the current members sake that gets rectified ASAP. Whether the country wants the ADF or not, whether they want it to be like the old system, whether they want this/that etc etc just try to make sure that it is decided quickly so the Commander/Marshal isn't sitting there with their asses in the breeze paying for supplies from their own pocket when they are told the Government is supplying.
JDS, good luck whoever takes it over but there is a healthy +40,000cc as of the day I resigned so at least you won't need to budget for it or worry about the months fundings, there has been some generous donators and they deserve high praise.
