Moving Tickets and Hunger Games

Day 2,193, 19:16 Published in Canada USA by seeker1
1. Don’t sell your MTs.

While it may seem like a good way to make some quick cash, the truth is that selling off your moving tickets now will cost you in the long run. These free tickets won’t last forever. Soon you’ll be back to paying 40cc to move through two zones, and you will be kicking yourself for having sold your Q2 MTs off at 20 CC.

Also if you use the Map on the main page to move, it will automatically use a MT. And it will most likely use one of the MTs that eat up health and you will end up with an weird health (like 16 health)

Now I know that you do normally spend money on moving, because soldiers very rarely request moving money. And those of you who do request money for MTs, you’re taking advantage of the branch a bit if you sell off a Q2 MT at 20 or 30cc and then request 40cc from the branch to move. Save them for your own good, and save them for the good of the branch.

In fact, I would suggest buying MTs if you have any cash. Right now I’m buying up MTs at gutter prices, so I’ll be moving at half price for the next year on fools’ dimes.

Don't be a sucker. Keep your MTs, and buy some for the long haul.

2. Sign up for the Hunger Games!

The eUS Military has been signed up as a participating MU in the Hunger Games. Four members per division will be drawn from each MU to compete for prizes and to be the last standing - the victors.

This is going to be great fun for the soldiers who are drawn, and a great way to promote our MU and building relationships with enemy fellow MUs. Instructions have been provided giving details on the contest, and explain how to become a ‘tribute’ - a participant in the contest - representing the eUS Military MU. You can fill out the form to put your name in the hat up the three times daily between now and the end of day 2195. Please read the instructions thoroughly for specifics.

I’ll see you in the Hunger Games. May the odds be ever in your favor.
