Ministry Update

Lots since of big news today, I'll get straight into it. After a lot of work to iron out issues and work being delayed. The Ministry of Defence is pleased to be able to announce the return of Military Medals to the eUK’s National Military. At this point in time they are only open to members of the eUnited Kingdom Federalised Units (UK-FU). They are in order from the ‘least’ to the ‘greatest’. They have been re-worked to reflect the current Military Module and the way that this now works.



Mentioned in Dispatches (MiD) – Each MU commander, per 50 soldiers in their MU, may propose 1 soldier for a MiD every month whose name will be released in the Ministry of Defence newspaper.




Military Cross (MC) – awarded in recognition of high levels of activity within the Military, including regularly attending strikes, being an active Captain or a regular member of the Ministry.




Distinguished Service Order (DSO) – awarded in recognition of service to the Military, mainly to Commanders but also is available to Ministers of Defence and long serving Captains




Victoria Cross (VC) – the CP may nominate one person when he leaves office to the VC in recognition of their sacrifice to the betterment of the eUK in military matters. A receiver of the VC must have already have been awarded the MC and the CP is free to not nominate a receiver of the VC.
Please note that the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross will continue to be retired from the Military Awards and the Kings Commendation for Valuable Service.

NFMUK operates a tad like US-AIM and the current Romanian Military. Simply put, the goals of the Units involved in the National Military are about defending the interests of our nation around the globe and encouraging activity of members in the Units, specifically in getting them onto IRC. The commanders of these units also form what is termed the ‘General Staff’ whereby they participate in war planning with the Minister of Defence and the Prime Minister.
