mjdiv for Vermont

Day 946, 20:05 Published in USA USA by mjdiv

A week ago, when I was elected party president of the US Trade And Military Alliance party, I was on a mission to work with all of the top 5 political parties to make sure we got good candidates into Congress, both from within TAMA and also from the other parties. I was also on a mission to conduct this party's business honorably and respectfully. At first, I was going to leave my 7 previous wins to Congress in the history books and sit back to manage the party and conduct operations in Choc's Cabinet as United States' Director of Economic Relations. I was not planning to go back to Congress. However, something changed.

As I was doing my part as president of the No. 5 party to get all of our candidates and blockers placed, I was disturbed by noticing that one of the Top 5 parties was not letting the other parties know who they were running as legitimate candidates and who they were running as blockers. All of the top 5 parties have worked together to fill out the F.E.C. sheets with their candidates to avoid potential national security risks of PTO. However, they said "we'll fill out our own sheet". They put names down on the sheet to fill up the slots but never sent them to register their candidacies and they listed all candidates as running legitimately. They were only looking out for themselves rather than looking out for the country. I have made sure to work with all of the political parties and look out for the country, not just for my own party. In fact, for this election, TAMA has endorsed 41 candidates outside of our party. Number of candidates outside their party that SEES endorse😛 0.

At first, I was angry enough about this that I said I wouldn't endorse any candidate that ran under SEES. After a while, though, I've decided to have fun with this. There are some people who, no matter which party they run under, I would endorse. People such as DanieCD, Dante Alagherii and former US-TAMA party president Dennis McVicker. I will, however, say that as long as SEES refuses to work with other parties, as long as I remain party president of US-TAMA, they will get no free rides 😉.

At about 20:00 last night I finally breathed a sigh of relief after I was done scrambling to place our candidates. I wish we didn't need any, but we still needed 5 F.E.C. candidates placed. I also saw that SEES needed 10.

So it's time to have some fun! I have decided to run for Congress in the same state as Joshua Patterson: Vermont! While I love my summers in Rhode Island, I also enjoy the winter resorts in Vermont 😉. If Vermont elects me as their candidate, you will be electing someone who will continue to work for the people and not just for my own party. So it's party president vs. party president this month: TAMA vs. SEES. But no matter who wins, I will definitely be having fun on election day watching all of the races take place.

Remember to vote on Friday (Day 94😎...have fun and enjoy another day in eRepublik!
