Manifesto Part 1 - Internal/Domestic Affairs

Day 1,164, 10:28 Published in Japan Japan by Alfred Ball

Greetings Japan,

In my last article I announced my candidacy, in this article I will breakdown how I plan to improve and expand on the Ministry of Domestic Affairs. Currently I believe this ministry is the first tool in a countries arsenal to maintain and active population. What this means is I will be expanding on this department big time, and recruiting a team of active citizens to help run this ministry.

Things I plan to do for this ministry are:

• National updates in the media often which will include news on legislation currently being debated and/or voted on to the Imperial Diet. It will also have recent national and international articles worth commenting on. This will be an independant branch within the MoIA known as the Minister of Media who will release reports on the world and eJapan more regularly then they are now.

• Attempting to revitalize a welfare program to newer citizens as well as providing mentors to help with any questions he/she may have. To all you people whining about lack of activity this is your chance to show your support! 😃

• Provide new citizen guides which will be plublished regularly in a government made newspaper. As well as IRC guides and pushing all members of the community to be active on the forums.

The few things above are the major things that I will work very hard to implement day one of office! Other things will also be worked into the ministry.

In short this department will be run by quite a few people under the minister I chose, it is a very important role in my opinion and honing new citizens and reaching out to them is one thing I feel we have lacked in previous months. With a nice active Domestic Affairs/Internal Affairs team, I know we will see lot of newer faces around.
