Whether any of you like it or not, you've picked a side in this fight. Calling upon the United States and India, you made your very important decision all because of your ignorant, illogical, backwoods, close-minded, and flat-out insane desire for a region with only medium oil (and not much more).
It's foolish of me to try and talk facts as to how ridiculous all of this was. Everyone knows that Ireland never had any real long-term plans for the prospective taking of the North. And, everyone knows they still don't. The real and simple reason is: "Because Ireland will always be our little brother; and they'll always act like the little brother who hates that his parents give us more attention. Ireland is a completely reactionary nation that lives and dies on the welfare of its enemy.
Ireland might as well be the UK's answer to Fredo Corleone. They're an entire nation with an inferiority complex and they'll be handled... even if it doesn't comply with their own itinerary.
It's sort of like how a child answers a sensible "why" question. Well... Northern Ireland is British again. And, EDEN has openly expressed its removed support of the Emerald Isle. They're not going to pay for your childish excursions. As such, you're left without the support of the United States, and with a MPP that continues to go un-used. As it turns out, I was wrong to blame patton alone for that one—at least Dubhthaigh and Edana Savage share his blame (JohnSmith 2K9 claims he wasn't at the meeting).
You see, friends. I'm not of any official government function. I hold no office in any arm of the government. I'm a mere paratrooper. So, I am free to say whatever the hell I want to say. That's why you read The Long Bow, isn't it? Whether you agree with me or disagree with me, you know I'll do my best to never hold back.
However amusing your attempts at saber-rattling have been....
Your leadership is incompetent.

Who cares? Of all the "don't bring politics or RL issues into it" talk, the general sum we were left with was: "do it because it's a game and it's fun".
So...objective met. The war was extremely fun, wouldn't you say? I'm not angry or seething in my Irish boots like a lot of eUK players are hoping we would, I've been congratulating both sides on their victories. Ireland had its fun and stimulated its growth without wasting any gold, and the UK got its region back.
There is simply no way the UK would have been victorious in that RW without the help of their masters in Phoenix. How much gold did it cost your government to bribe your "allies" to help you?

The UK was just reunited. Seeing as how I recently spent three months in the Dáil, I'd be a fool to think that my opinion wasn't at least suspected. Considering my efforts in those three months to quell the uproar about Northern Ireland, I see nothing wrong with making said statement while pointing out the facts at hand.
And, maybe with just a dash of gloat.

Patton, I moved to London two days before it was invaded. In other words, I moved to the UK when in its most dire hour and when it was at its weakest.
To all Irish, I will say that the majority of you have proven to be just simple citizens with no grand purpose and no real ambition in the New World. Your entire existence in eRepublik is to update language in the constitution or further plan the road to Belfast. It's gotten you nowhere, but the red herring that this is all some kind of success is precisely what will keep you putting the wrong people into power.
It got B-O-R-I-N-G. It's like I sad in my last article, in the end, I just decided that defending the United Kingdom and helping in her inevitable reconstruction is much more honorable than counting my boogers in the Dáil.
