June Congress Results- Data and Analysis
1nterestingch4racter
This month’s congress results certainly saw a lot of excitement from all sides! As parties banded together, record numbers of mobile voters were deployed, and in the final minutes everything was to play for. An exciting twist this month was that other parties had to go up against the combined force of a leftist alliance which dominated the election due to their sheer size and support. As Keers and Darkmantle fought for control of regions until early this morning, there were a few interesting twists. Firstly, some numbers.
TUP- 16 (-2)
UKRP- 7 (-5)
Spectrum- 5 (-2)
PCP- 8 (+6)
SDP- 4 (-)
TUP steadily losing seats, however massive gains for the PCP at the expense of the UKRP and Spectrum. SDP burst into the scene with a respectable four seats, and used tactical voting wisely to secure their seats, a clever strategy.
Here’s the break down of this months and last months figures for comparison:
And now the % of seats held by different orientations:
Some interesting moves were made by parties throughout the day and indeed early this morning. Spectrum controversially moved to secure both temunjin94 and Caesar, the first of course accused of letting an enemy Canadian into our country. Even more surprising that they voted him in with mobile votes in the last minute, whether he is allowed commons access remains to be seen. A slight let down for RRS, who said in a recent interview he wanted 6 seats, but they fell just short of that and they did even worse than when I was party president! Not as easy as it looks is it : )
The South East turned into a brutal battleground this morning with Steve Steinbeck and Stefan battling it out to the last. In the end, poor Angelus Mortis was removed as both sides scrambled to protect influential party veterans. It certainly seems that the PCP gained enormously from their alliance with TUP, and I would be surprised if the same was not repeated next month.

Good article but a bit of butthurt at the end tbh
😞
From a noob point of view:
pcp & sdp: It seems a clear cut victory for the parties who produce the most fun, active newspapers, coupled with simple to understand policies have gained. I know what the pcp and sdp stand for.
spectrum: While I love the rebranding of spectrum (Hell thats is some cool stuff), I can't recall one word they wrote, or one policy they have, but the logo is cool (Did I mention that).
ukrp & tup: Its always harder to push bigger parties along when you’re fighting inertia and large amounts of nearly dead 2-clickers to get any sort of message across and this seems to be showing in the polls.
As for my own situation, I've been a party member of ukrp for over one month, and I've not had a single word from a party official. Whereas my RL friend just joined the sdp and Melophore said hi to him in less than 24 hours. Though separately, I have spoken to Dan from the tup, that’s one good food program. yum yum.
I actual enjoyed this election. so far best event in the monthly calendar. erep show me the fun.

The slight TUP decline has to be taken in context with the PCP rise. We worked very much as a team and it's a fantastic result.
John Forseti is TRS he ran under the TUP banner 😉
Horice 🙂
TUP FTW
Official results won't be out until 0600 eRep time (1400 BST), so may yet change...

John Forseti is TUP.
The communists were the big winners in this election. Well done to them 🙂
tup may have lost out but they have been kept strong by PCP holding up the left wing. well done
