Before the interview, I want to thank Kalif Batan for their time and willingness to answer my questions. He is currently the second consecutive term as CP Nigeria.
This interview consists of nine answers divided into two parts.
PW - Our country currently has a low military power, considering this, how many free regions you think is the best for Nigeria in these circumstances? Faced with the threat of an AS to some free region of Nigeria What do you think is the best defense strategy to reject this attack?

KB - If we look at the ideal number of regions for our small country, there are two big issues to consider: First, there is the constant danger of PTOs in our country. We don't have much more than 20 players that are active and reliable enough to be congressman. So for that reaaon, we should not have more than 2 regions at the moment. The second issue is the threat of an airstrike, like you mentioned in the second part of your question. The more regions we have, the greater the chances of getting attacked with an airstrike. 1 or 2 regions would be ok for this.
The best strategy for us to defend against an Airstrike is not really military. Of course, MPPs and hard fighting could be usefull against a medium strong attacker, but against strong countries our damage is just too low. So, besides not having too many regions, diplomacy is the most important part. We must make sure that the country which is occupying us will help us. In the ideal case, they tell their allies not to attack and fight against attackers. We have not much international influence, so we must work and hope, that we have bigger countries defending us.

PW - Nigeria is a country that is disputed between Argentina and Chile. Have you consulted any of these countries on a possible devision of regions between them? Do you prefer that Nigeria is partially occupied by only one country or two countries? Why?

KB - Of course I have talked to officials from both countries about our regions. A split of regions on 3 countries would have been possible from our point of view. But the talks between Argentina and Chile failed because of other reasons.
If I could choose, I would always prefer one occupying country, because we can fight and show that country that we can be a pain in the ass if they don't talk to us and work together with us. When we were occupied oppressive by Argentina and Greece, we could already see that our damage is too little to to be split up.
But we can't always get what we wish for, so it could always be possible that another player shows up. There are positive aspects for that scenario too of course, for example a better defence against airstrikes.
Por supuesto que he hablado con funcionarios de ambos países acerca de nuestras regiones. Una división de las regiones en 3 países habría sido posible desde nuestro punto de vista. Pero las conversaciones entre Argentina y Chile fracasaron debido a otras razones.

PW - While Nigeria is a small country in population, has more damage than some twenty countries. Why does our country currently has no mpp? With which country would you like to have mpp? Name some please.

KB - There are numerous reasons for and against MPPs for our country.
Positive effects are for example that players could fight from our regions, so they would stay in our country and buy from our marketplace. But for that we would need a MPP with a country with constant wars or with many countries, but we can't afford the second. And we also must know, that Nigerians can buy from our marketplace even without staying in our regions. So this effect would be minimal.
A second reason for a MPP would be the diplomatical effect.
On the other hand a MPP is very expensive and we collect not enough taxes to afford one every month. One MPP is not enough to defend us against anyone, but as I said before, we can't even afford one.
Also other countries have no big use from a MPP with us. Most of them would not pay 10k CC for having a MPP with us.
In my opinion it is more effective to fight against attackers with RWs. For these cases we could save enough money to set high COs and we bought huge amounts of Q7 weapons to give out supplies. Nigeria is not vulnerable against hostile attackers, even if we have no MPP!
There are nearly no countries that I could not imagine having a MPP with, so it would be easier to name the few I would not see as a possible partner: We should stay neutral, so a MPP with Chile or Argentina would not be possible. Also, our neighbours Brazil and South Africa are no good idea for that reason in my opinion. Furthermore I would not accept a MPP with Greece because of their occupation in the last year.

Los aspectos positivos son por ejemplo, que los jugadores pueden luchar desde nuestras regiones, por lo que se quedarían en nuestro país y comprarían en nuestro mercado. Pero para eso necesitaríamos un MPP con un país con constantes guerras o MPP con muchos países, pero no podemos permitirnos el segundo. Y también debemos saber, que los nigerianos pueden comprar en nuestro mercado incluso sin permanecer en nuestras regiones. Así que este efecto sería mínimo.
Una segunda razón para una MPP sería el efecto diplomático.
Por otro lado un MPP es muy caro y nuestros impuestos que recogemos no son suficientes para pagar un MPP cada mes. Un MPP tampoco es suficiente para defendernos contra cualquier país, pero como he dicho antes, ni siquiera podemos permitirnos uno.
También otros países no ven una gran utilidad de un MPP con nosotros. La mayoría de ellos no pagarían 10k CC por tener un MPP con Nigeria.
En mi opinión, es más eficaz usar los cc para luchar contra los atacantes en RW. Para estos casos podríamos ahorrar el dinero suficiente para establecer altas Cos y comprar grandes cantidades de armas Q7 para repartos en caso de guerra. Nigeria no es vulnerable contra los atacantes hostiles, incluso si no tenemos MPP!
Hoy casi no hay países con los que no podría imaginar tener un MPP con nosotros, por lo que sería más fácil entonces nombrar unos pocos a los que no vería como un posible socio: Debemos mantenernos neutrales, por lo que un MPP con Chile o Argentina, no sería posible. Igualmente, nuestros vecinos Brasil y Sudáfrica no son buena idea por lo mismo en mi opinión. Además, yo no aceptaría un MPP con Grecia debido a su ocupación en el último año.
PW - It is said that will be available shortly be introduced in the game civil wars. Although there is no certainty about which implies a civil war, it is likely that foreign citizens can intervene in matters within the political module in a country. What actions would take your government if, for example, Chile or Argentina intervene in the internal affairs of Nigeria?
Se dice que dentro de poco tiempo se introducirán en el juego las guerras civiles. Aunque no hay certezas sobre lo que implica una guerra civil, es probable que ciudadanos extranjeros puedan intervenir en asuntos dentro del módulo político de un país. ¿Que acciones tomaría su gobierno si, por ejemplo, Chile o Argentina interviene en asuntos internos de Nigeria?
KB - There is no reliable information about civil wars so far. Let us wait and hope, that admins would post informations early enough for us to react. Also I hope, that both countries are aware, that if they try to play with our internal matters, we would consider it as a declaration of war. We could always ask the other one of those countries for help, so that could make everything harder for them.

PW - What is your favorite musical group of German origin?

KB - I can't decide, so I'll name two: LaBrassBanda and Losamol. Both are from Bavaria and they sing in heavy dialect, so some haters could say they are not german. But most are just jealous that they can't understand that heavenly music
Unfortunately there is not much good stuff from these bands on the internet.

Being honest, I prefer them in the power in eNigeria, because at least they want to make eNigeria a country for eNigerians. Not the other way with argies, who just wanted eNigeria to be their satellite ad serve their interests. Still, I think you can't play neutral for too long. The moment will come and you guys will have to choose a side.
