Indian President wishes Karnataka to be returned – My thoughts on the issue.

Day 920, 09:42 Published in USA USA by Sossu

Yep, it’s another one of these thoughtful articles, there has not happened anything particularly interesting on the battlefields after the gigantic battle for Liaoning apart from attempts to landswap some nations around Europe, but these attempts aren’t by now been fruitful and don’t hold any interest.

Instead, USA in particular is stirred by an inevitable diplomatic dilemma coming at the worst possible time. During President Jewitt’s two terms, USA waged a partially successful campaign, yet bitter at the same time, around Asia in order to liberate two countries from Phoenix oppression and at the same time release pressure in Asia, traditionally a continent belonging to Phoenix or their predecessor, PEACE GC.

How did USA end up there in the first place?

After trying to forcefully go through Japan, the President of Japan surprisingly let USA through their lands just three days after they had directly assaulted his nation. Japan realized that it is best for the interests of China, a close ally of theirs, to let USA in to Asia to wipe out the Phoenix colonies located there. The first victim was Iran, a nation vastly powerful back then than what they are today. USA declared war on them and successfully conquered Liaoning, effectively ending Iran’s reign as a nation with global importance.
The next victim was Indonesia, after USA cleared Northern India from Iranians, liberating the wood region of Jharkhand during the process. The battle for Karnataka was expected to be massive, but instead of trying to defend it, Indonesia retreated in order to save resources for a future campaign against Malaysia.

Having conquered two out of three, USA confidentially attempted to throw Hungary out from Asia as well, but Hungary proved to be better equipped and motivated when the lifeline of their nation was threatened. During the chaotic retreat, Jewitt made some blatant mistakes, resulting to Heilongjiang to be pocketed inside Phoenix regions. USA was obliged to RW Liaoning, a region they intended to keep after the success in HLJ, and the war effectively ended in Asia. USA, left with empty hands, saw salvation in the tiny nation of India, in debt to USA for freeing their nation. USA, guided by the moral code of standing up against so called “evil” and helping out smaller nations unable to defend themselves didn’t trample over the nation they just had liberated, but instead negotiated a deal with India in order to lease Karnataka. Both sides benefited, USA gaining Iron, a resource India couldn’t fully exploit due to their size, and India gaining protection from PTO😒, MPP-backing and a monthly amount of 900G as the rent of the region. This deal lasted all the way to this day, when India suddenly informed their intentions to unite their country and get rid of the rent agreement.

India is not capable of extracting the best of Karnataka.

It should not come as a surprise to anyone that Karnataka in the hands of India under their current circumstances is a huge waste. The following statistics have been formed by using these
two articles, alongside with eReptools.

India is a tiny country, blessed by rich natural resources. There is not a similar situation anywhere in the world, where a small, independent nation holds iron. Ukraine has 4000 citizens, making them capable of hosting Podolia, though suffering from PTO😒, where we will get back in to. The best possible example is Peru, a nation with small native population under a Polish shadow government ruling the nation. Lot’s of Polish land workers work there as immigrants, elevating the income coming from High Andes, still being the lowest of nations with one source of Iron.

Peru produces iron worth 8496,81G in a month, and they have 2700 citizens, over double of India’s. India and Peru are similar to each other in every other way but in population, therefore these two nations can be compared.

India has 698 land workers working in High resource companies.
Peru has 180 workers in Wood firms, 88 working in grain firms and 1055 working in iron firms. A total of 1323, which 79% are Iron workers. Should this formula be applied to India directly, after acquiring Karnataka they would have 556 people working in iron companies, if they are equivalent to the people working in Peru, they will extract iron worth 4482,82G in a month. Karnataka will be the lowest productive iron region in the world and will suffer a drop of 83% from the productivity when it is under USA😒 occupation.

These calculations will apply only if the companies are ran by Indians, but the true value of the region will probably be a bit higher if some Americans choose to reside there even after it is released to India.

The truth is that India profits vastly more from leasing the region than by holding it on their own. They have a powerful land sector already producing mainly wood, so they don’t need new resource sources. From an economical standpoint the demand is completely irrational.

How does it impact the United States?

The reasons USA seeks to extend the agreement are not entirely economical. Having iron isn’t equivalent to having a money printer, but it can’t be denied that the 2,500 people working in Iron sector generate a substantial amount of taxes to the coffers of USA. Due to the low VAT tax, lots of iron is exported out from USA, creating a vacuum of foreign money flowing in to USA. Unlike Serbia who are totally reliant on Liaoning, Karnataka is not the heart of USA. USA has oil, wood and grain on their original regions, capable of running a land sector succesfully without Karnataka. Roughly 19% of USA😒 GDP is created in Karnataka, compared to the 28,5% of Liaoning for Serbia.

We are not dependent of the region, especially when our revenue is reduced as we have to pay a substantial amount of cash in order to lease it every month. The bigger reason is that having India as a friend, we keep Phoenix from getting stronger by occupying Karnataka for themselves. USA ATO units keep elections fair while a powerful set of Eden MPP😒 funded by the rent USA pays keeps enemies away from India’s borders.

Keeping Phoenix out from India secures China and Australia, allowing a stronger Allied presence to occur in Asia. When Serbia controls Liaoning, a Phoenix-held Karnataka could be handed over to Indonesia, or if they are not capable, next in line is Iran. Keeping India protected is a vital part of liberating Asia, USA is one region short from completing the task set in Jewitt’s time, and having Karnataka fall to enemy’s hands would be a significant setback.

Is India capable of protecting Karnataka?

This is a tricky question to answer. If India decides to stay on the Allied side and not align with Phoenix, a MPP-set consisting Poland, USA and Spain will do enough. Serbia will absolutely not risk Liaoning over Karnataka, and no other PHX nation on the area is powerful enough to invade Karnataka and close the MPP😒 by ultimately wiping India. The problem is the reduced revenue. India doesn’t generate a tax income big enough to convert in to Gold so they can purchase their MPP😒. Currently the biggest income they have is the monthly 900G from USA + the free MPP with USA.

Another, even wider issue is PTO. All our work is lost if Phoenix legally PTO😒 India and hands over Karnataka to Serbia or some other nation. Illicit PTO😒 are made nearly impossible by the new set of rules giving Admins 6 hours to investigate elections before the term of the respective representatives begins. It is totally worth it though to perform a legal PTO in India, taking several weeks to be carried out but completely possible to be done. USA has over 250 soldiers possessing Indian citizenship, but they might not want to help India to thwart PTO😒 after they unilaterally ceased the treaty.

In Ukraine, a country with 4000 citizens, Russian TO:ers are running rampant. Eden reduced their representation in congress to 14 seats, but the danger still looms over them. How could India survive constant PTO😒 when they have little over 1000 citizens?

Is India seeking for a higher fare?

Rumors say that India has been dealing with Phoenix to form a backroom contract of leasing Karnataka to them for a higher price. Serbia for instance is able to pay way higher than the 900G USA pays, and they surely would like a Iron region should they lose Liaoning. I however do not believe India is forming a new deal with Phoenix, I think they wish to continue the healthy relationship with USA and the Allied side. But they want to see Karnataka as an Indian region, something USA should convince them to delay for a while.

India and USA have a genuine relationship despite USA have tried to bargain the rent several times. I refuse to suspect that they intend to clear the path for a smooth swap to Karnataka. Having to fight USA in Karnataka would carry extra costs for Phoenix, easily avoided if the region is succumbed to India first.

India has a good hold on USA😒 balls. If USA refuses to hand Karnataka, they break the gentlemen’s agreement with India and suffer a severe blow to their image as a force for good in eWorld, something they are keen to preserve. Serbia is just 3 swaps from Karnataka, in case India gets really pissed. Playing with Serbia is playing with fire though, as there is no one to throw Serbia out if they begin to act like tenants should not.

USA can be thrown out from Karnataka, but India might miss them very soon if the new residents in Karnataka forgot to pay their rent, for instance. India should look at China who are their neighbors and see the fierce fighting in their homeland. Supporting USA’s war efforts will ultimately create harmony in to Asia and the kind of stability what a country calling themselves neutral should pursuit. Only until after Asia is cleared from Phoenix, can Karnataka be handed over to India so they can successfully preserve it. The protection of Karnataka is anchored by U.S presence even after Asia is clear from Phoenix. The region of Andra-Pradesh, where USA currently resides, borders the northern regions, so India can retreat them to the offender in case of emergency so USA can instantly attack them. A-P also borders Tamil-Nadu, the bottleneck region between Indonesia and India. As Indonesia is the most likely to attack, U.S presence in Andra-Pradesh offers double protection from Indonesia.

Conclusion and my suggestion.

India’s demand comes at the worst possible time when USA is involved to a costly and even war against Serbia. Moving people out from Karnataka will reduce USA’s damage for many days and the lost revenue will harm the effort to invade Liaoning. Asia without Serbia is a safer and more prosperous Asia, something India should understand and be ready to help in creating it.

Therefore I propose the following treaty.

-Karnataka shall be returned to India after Serbia is stripped from their regions in Asia.
- The region of Andra-Pradesh shall remain under U.S observation.
- India allows USA an appropriate amount of time to move as many people from Karnataka back to mainland before a RW is started.

Once Liaoning is captured, I trust China to hand it over temporarily to USA as a token of gratitude. China plays this game from a strategical angle, they know that a powerful USA with iron will significantly help Eden in the next major campaign, the invasion of Russia where China will play the biggest part.

Woops, it kind of exploded. It was a bitch to write but somehow intriguing at the same time.
