Mi scuso per non aver potuto rispondere prima, a causa di problemi RL avuti ieri. Ho letto molte cose sull'Italia nelle ultime settimane, e vorrei dare la nostra versione.

Quando sono diventato Presidente dell'Italia, la mia nazione era sotto attacco di tre diversi paesi. Il primo era la Germania. Si trattava di un attacco giusto e comprensibile. Perchè era stata l'Italia ad attaccare per prima alcune regioni tedesche, e perchè da Ottobre abbiamo combattuto duramente contro la Germania e abbiamo contribuito alla loro quasi cancellazione dalla mappa. Guardo ai tedeschi con il massimo rispetto. Ci hanno contrattaccato e questo fa parte del gioco!

Il secondo nemico era la Francia. La dichiarazione di "Natural Enemy" da parte dei francesi è stata una sorpresa. Non ci aspettavamo che i francesi attaccassero l'Italia in quella difficile situazione. Siamo stati grandi amici fino a pochi mesi fa, ma dopo che abbiamo lasciato Entente ci siamo trovati spesso sui lati opposti dei campi di battaglia. Come noi abbiamo letto spesso "Andiamo a Parigi" durante la campagna di Germania, è chiaro che il governo francese ha ascoltato lo stesso tipo di slogan da alcuni suoi cittadini. "Andiamo a Roma!". Ma la Francia, dopo una sanguinosa battaglia in Sicilia e dopo aver perso l'iniziativa (non la guerra), è venuta da noi ad offrirci un trattato di Pace interessante. Non ci veniva chiesto niente se non la pace. Deve essere stata uan decisione difficile e dura da parte del governo francese, una decisione che è costata a Mr Kallmar una richiesta di impeachment. Il "Natural Enemy" francese è stato rimosso e il trattato di pace è stato firmato da entrambi i congressi.

Il terzo nemico che è venuto a bussare alla nostra porta è la Slovenia. La stessa Slovenia che aveva firmato un trattato di Pace nei drammatici giorni della scorsa Presidenza. Un trattato di Pace che arrivò dopo che avevano perso tutte le regioni occupate, grazie a uno spettacolare prestazione degli eserciti spagnoli nelle Guerre di Liberazione delle regioni italiane. Dopo un paio di giorni di "pace", il congresso sloveno votò il "Natural Enemy" contro l'Italia e ci attaccarono duramente. Durante quei giorni abbiamo ricevuto molte mappe disegnate dagli sloveni per diversi tavoli diplomatici. Mappe diverse che avevano solo una cosa in comune: l'Italia cancellata!

Durante la guerra, la diplomazia slovena è venuta a bussare alle nostre porte di nuovo, per offrire una tregua. "Sappiamo che avete bisogno della pace, pagate per la vostra pace! Dateci tre regioni e smetteremo di sconfiggervi". Ho portato l'offerta al mio congresso chiedendo di considerare l'offerta. Il cuore diceva di rifiutare l'offerta, la mente diceva di accettarla.

Come sapete bene, la diplomazia è un campo difficile da gestire. Uno dei concetti più importanti da seguire, nella diplomazia, è di non girare le proprie carte prima di chiudere il punto. Sfortunatamente il Presidente sloveno decise di prendersi il massimo onore conquistando le regioni che voleva nella nostra nazione, prima di firmare il trattato. Allo stesso tempo, quando il trattato divenne pubblico, la nostra Alleanza (non la Croazia, ma l'intera Alleanza) ci chiese chiarimenti. "Cosa diavolo state facendo ragazzi?" fu la domanda più cordiale! Rispondemmo che avevamo bisogno di un periodo di pace, e che anche se quella non era una buona proposta, era pur sempre l'unica proposta che avevamo ricevuto.

Dopo una lunga discussione, durante la quale Eden ci chiese ripetutamente quali fossero le nostre idee riguardo l'Alleanza, decisero di stabilire un piano per liberare l'Italia e allo stesso tempo punire la Slovenia. Come possono confermare i croati, noi rifiutammo uno dei piani perchè non lo considerammo buono per noi. Avevamo bisogno di un periodo di pace, ed era questo che cercavamo, ma devo proprio ringraziare Eden per il massiccio intervento in nostro aiuto. E' stato bello entrare ogni giorno nella chat militare di Eden e vedere l'Italia sempre al primo posto delle priorità.

In poco tempo l'equilibrio della guerra è cambiato radicalmente. Dopo una sola settimana, la Slovenia sta cercando disperatamente di sopravvivere e nonostante la situazione, la loro diplomazia continua a chiedere un nuovo trattato (anche con la Croazia).
L'attacco italiano al "Litorale Sloveno" come ho spiegato Domenica mattina, non è un atto di conquista. Non vogliamo regioni originali slovene. E' solo una specie di risarcimento che ci prendiamo dalla Slovenia per la loro doppia campagna in Italia negli ultimi 40 giorni. Dopo esserci ripresi la Liguria, fermeremo ogni atto ostile contro la Slovenia, anche se durante la mia presidenza non ci fideremo più di loro e non rimuoveremo il Natural Enemy. Come ultimo atto della mia presidenza, restituiremo il "Litorale Sloveno" con una battaglia di liberazione e farò partire la legge per rimuovere il Natural Enemy.

Dopo aver chiarito gli eventi, almeno dal nostro punto di vista, vorrei chiarire che non siamo i pupazzi di nessuno. Siamo dentro un Alleanza e ci muoviamo in essa rispettando le esigenze e gli obiettivi che ci siamo dati come Nazione alle scorse elezioni. Non siamo pupazzi e non siamo traditori. Quando l'Italia decise di lasciare Entente e entrare in Eden, fu presa una decisione per il nostro bene. Volevamo nuove avventure nel mondo. Volevamo divertirci. Alcuni ci hanno definito traditori ma non lo siamo. Cambiammo alleanza non perchè stavamo perdendo e volevamo passare con i vincenti. Cambiammo alleanza per divertirci di più, così come, probabilmente, avete fatto voi (spagnoli, n.d.t.) quando siete entrati nel New World Order. Voi non avete scelto di andare con i vincenti. Avete semplicemente deciso di cambiare alleanza. Questo è un cambiamento, non un tradimento.

Italia e Spagna sono amiche, perchè abbiamo combattuto molto, come avete detto giustamente voi, fianco a fianco. Non dimentichiamo chi ci ha aiutato. Alcuni dicono molte cose negative degli italiani... ma gli italiani non dimenticano chi si è dimostrato un buon amico e ci ha aiutato nel bisogno. Così come non dimentichiamo i buoni amici, non dimentichiamo chi ci ha traditi. Questo governo sloveno ci ha attaccato solo pochi giorni dopo aver firmato la Pace con noi. Pensavano di fare una passeggiata in Italia. Non è andata proprio così.

C'è un proverbio in Italia che dice "se semini vento, raccogli tempesta". La Spagna in Italia ha seminato grano e raccoglierà pane! La Slovenia ha seminato vento e ha raccolto tempesta!

I'm so sorry not to answer before due to RL problems yesterday. I've read a lot of different things on Italy on last weeks, and I'd like to give our own version.

When I became CP of Italy, my Country was attacked by three different countries. The first one was Germany. This was a right and fair attack. First because it was Italy that attacked German regions and second because it has been since October that we fought hard with Germany and we contributed almost to erase them from the map. I looked at Germans with the highest respect. The were giving us back what we gave before. It's in the game!

The second enemy was France. The French NE Declaration was not expected at all. We did not expect French to attack Italy in that difficult situation, we were big friends till some months ago but after our leaving from Entente we were always on different side of the battles and as we read many times "Go to Paris" during the German Campaign, it was quite clear that French Government had listened to the same type of slogan from their own citizens. "Let's go to Rome!". But ... but France, after a bloody battle in Sicily and after losing the initiative (not the War) came to us and offered us a very interesting Peace Treaty. They were not asking us anything apart from Peace. It was for sure a very difficult and hard decision from the French Government, a decision that costed Mr Kallmar an impeachment law. The French NE Law was taken back and Peace Treaty was signed by both Congresses.

The third enemy that came knocking on our doors was Slovenia. The same Slovenia that signed a Peace Treaty in the dramatic days of the former Presidency. A Peace Treaty that came after losing all the regions thanks to the outstanding performance of Spanish Armies in the RW. After only a couple of days of "peace", Slovenian Congress voted the NE Law against Italy and they attacked us hardly. During those days we saw a lot of Slovenian maps coming from different diplomatic tables. Different maps with only one thing in common. Different colors but only one thing: Italy Erased!
In the middle of the War, Slovenian Diplomacy came to knock on our door again and offered a truce. "We know that you need peace, pay for your peace! Give us three regions and we will stop defeating you.". I brought the offer to my Congress telling them to consider the offer. The heart was saying to reject the offer, the mind was saying "take it take it"!

As you perfectly know, Diplomacy is a very hard art to handle. One of the most important thing to follow in diplomacy is not to turn you cards before closing the point. Unfortunately Slovenian CP decided to take the highest honor of conquering the desired regions within his Country, before the deal was signed. At the same moment when the Deal was advertised, our Alliance, not Croatia but the Alliance, asked us to clarify our position. "What the hell are you doing guys" was the most polite question! We answered that we needed peace and that was not a good offer but was the only offer we received.

After long discussion, when Eden asked again and again what were our ideas on the Alliance, they decided to build up a plan to free Italy and in the meantime punish Slovenia. As Croatian will say clearly, we rejected one of their plan because we do not considered it good for us. We needed peace and that was what we were looking for, but I have to thank Eden for the massive efforts they put to help us. It was so exciting to enter everyday in the Military Chat of Eden and looking at the Priorities seeing that Italy was always on the top.

In a very short time the balance of the war changed radically. After only one week, Slovenia is struggling to survive and despite of this situation, their diplomacy goes on asking for new deal (even with Croatia).

Italian attack on Littoral, as i explained Sunday morning, is not a conquering act. We do not want any original Slovenian region. This is only a sort of payback that we are taking from Slovenia for their double campaign in Italy in the last 40 days. After taking back Liguria, we will stop any hostile act with Slovenia, even if till this Presidency will be in command, we do not trust them and NE will not removed from them. As the last act of my Presidency, we will give Littorial back to Slovenia with a RW and I will start the Law to remove Slovenia from Italian NE.

After clearing the events, at least told from our side, I would like to say that we are not puppet of anybody. We are inside an Alliance and we are moving with them in respect of their needs and in respect of the goals we declared to Country to get elected. We are not puppet and we are not traitors. When Italy decided to leave Entente and joining Eden, it was a decision for our own best. We wanted some new adventures in the world. We wanted some new excitement. People told us that we were traitors but we were not. We changed alliance not cause we were losing and we went to the winner side. We changed alliance to get more fun, as you probably decided to do when joining NWO. You are not going to the winner side. You have just decided to go on another side. This is a change, not a betray. Italy and Spain are friend, cause we fought a lot as you correctly said "beside". We do not forget people that helped us. People may say that Italians are a lot of things ... but Italians do not forget who had proven a good friend and helped us in the moment of need. As we do not forget the good friends, we do not forgive who betray us. This Slovenian Government attacked us only a couple of day after the Peace. They thought it was just a question of walking around Italy. It was not.

There is a proverb in Italy that quotes: "If you seed wind, you'll harvest storm!".

Spain in Italy seeded grain over grain and you will harvest Bread!

Slovenia seeded wind. Storm was what they harvested!
