So Fionia made a writer's contest. I've decided to make my own entry. The prompt is what would you do if you were the president of a new country. I think this is a completely appropriate topic because of Albania. This is the second contest I've entered.(first was Troll Spain) I received an honorable mention for that, so I hope to duplicate the success of the first one. This is structured similarly to Portcolumbus's entry, but the ideas are 100% original.

A couple of things to start off
Under no circumstances would I ever just start a new country without having some friends come along with me. I couldn't create everything all by myself, so here are the people that will be assisting me.

VP- Cody Caine
He's been an eFriend of mine for a while now. He created The Revolutionary Army, and The Revolutionary Party, so he's got plenty of experience with building things up.

CoS- Gnilraps
He was the first person to help me out in this game, and he has a very good understanding of all things eRepublik. He will be a key asset in the formation of a respected society.

Secretary of Defense- Leroy Combs
I've never spoken directly with Leroy, but he's a future CP and has a great background in the military

Secretary of State- Molly Jo Caine
She's a current congresswoman, Vice Party President, and she's P cool.
Deputy secretary of state- Lancer450

Secretary of Media- Portcolumbus
Port has an extremely successful newspaper, and is an eFriend of mine. A three time congressman with a career on radio and in the news is definitely qualified for the job.
Members of the Press Corps would be- Cody Caine, Kukai Ninjah Soma, Davis Winston, Jude Connors, Israel Stevens, Jon Malcom, Gnilraps, Dirty Scarlet Silverbeard, and xXBusinessMoguleXx.

Secretary of the Interior- Jerseygirl
She handles Bewbs4Newbs, and has participated in this aspect of a cabinet before.

Secretary of the Treasury- Evry
They've proven their worthiness. A known economist, definitely fit for the job.

Secretary of Education- Blank Keating
He's been in everyone else's cabinet so why not mine?

Secretary of Technology- Stanley Ibcus
Deputy secretary of technology- s0beit
They've both come out with some remarkable things.

Baby Boom
I will need a few people to help organize a baby boom. My country will have a respectable amount of citizens.

IRC
Our national channel will not be like usa-chat. It will be active and everyone who is involved will have a fun time.

Politics
With all of these awesome people to help me out we're sure to have a great government. Now, regarding what I would do with politics, I will keep it fairly simple.

I'll create a party similar to The Revolutionary Party, meaning we would have no political orientation and we would listen to the newer players just as much as the old ones.

As for the country, I wouldn't tolerate a feud between two parties. We're one nation and we can't be separated. I will try my best to use my power to let the best candidates win, rather than the most popular, or the one from the top ranked party.

I generally wouldn't keep discussions of Congress quiet. The public has a right to know what their elected officials are doing. With the help of Stanley Ibcus I will make a public vote for all major bills, such as the new tax code. If 2/3 of the public are against it the bill shall not be passed. Adding to this, the government will listen to the people when making their decisions. Too often the public's view isn't addressed because elites think they're below them. But not in my country!

Military
I hail from the great land of the eUS. Things would be similar to their structure. There will be a national fighting force, and even something close to the Civilians Military Group.

Like my Politics part there will be no feuds within the military, something the eUS is famous for. If we want to defeat our allies we have to do it together.

I will also create my own Military Unit. In fact, it will be based around newbs. Since I've started recruiting newer players, I've grown interest in helping them. It's something I enjoy doing and will continue to do for the rest of my eLife.

Even though it's failing right now in the eUS, I'd like to set up some sort of DoD orders that are released three times a day. Too often people don't know where to fight. I would talk to the leaders of the military unit's to make their daily orders the same as the DoD Orders. This will make each kill more effective rather than people fighting all over the world.

Because Spain Sucks we will be joining Terra and Eden. This sets us up for success, because if we are partnered with the best, we will eventually evolve into the best. Serbia won't want to touch us.

Economy
Too be honest, I'm not an economist. I will set up some sort of Econ Council, and they will help advise Congress what to do. However, Congress will only take advice from them.

I will probably have to set high taxes for my first month in order to start pumping money throughout the economy. It will definitely be tough times in the beginning, but in the end we will come out strong.

This is the only information I can give on this topic. Evry will be in charge of my economic decisions, which will end up being beneficial to the entire country.

Media
There will be press releases every day with pieces from three members of the press corps. The people in charge of writing articles will be in rotation so everyone gets a fair shot at getting their name out there. For example, on day one, you will see pieces from Portcolumbus, Kukai Ninjah Soma, and Cody Caine.

On every Monday there will be an update from me about the State of the Union. This will include a recap of the past week, goals for the following week, person of the week, and anything else that I feel needs to be said.

Problems
A month or two ago Jon Malcom came up with the idea of a Supreme Court. Taking some things from that I will set up a Supreme Court. Whenever a problem occurs there will be a trial and whoever wins gets their way.

In order to set this up properly there will have to be a Constitution. Everyone will help in the making of this document, and it will be up for revision once a month.

There will be 9 members of this court. Three Congress members, three public members, and three appointed by the President. I can assure you that Jon Malcom will be the head of this court.

What Kind of President Will I be?
I can guarantee you that I will be in active in our community. Any requests for an interview with me will be accepted. I'm not one to hide things from the public's viewing, so if there are any questions that a citizen has about what we plan to do about something, it will be answered with fully honesty and no bull s***.

I don't plan on making any enemies, but if it happens I don't care. I will always have many more friends than enemies, and that my friends will always be more important than my foes.

I won't just sit back and watch everything happen with the country. I will take the front seat in most conversations, and won't have trouble speaking up against anything that I feel is wrong.

Overall I ould make sure that it's a very fun and productive month.
