~Election Day Update~

I look as though I have a comfy seat, thanks Mr voter man 😃

If you're wondering how you can further help me out today, Vote Skalg von Tuari that is all.

Thanks.

Day 913. London, England.

12:05 pm: A man walks his dog into his local Unity Party representation office and asks to be ran for congress.

12:07 pm: Man leaves in bodybag. Mr Woldy keeps his dog.

At least once a week, whilst I'm eating biscuits watching the IRC go by, someone says the words, "I wish I could vote Woldy". Apparently I am good with the politics business and ought to stay involved with it.

The truth is, in eRepublik terms - is that I am one of the odd balls who enjoyes the election period. Unfortunately much of that enjoyment has been taken away since floating voters gained all the power. However there is still one region were people have to compete for the genuine votes of the electorate. That being region being, London.

This place

Now a bit of history for you; A few months back the eUK was invaded by the USA, they had a grudge or something. An effective tactic in any war is the 'fortress region'. Whereby we move everyone to on region, in our case - London and by doing so increase the size of the wall and the cost to attack. That's why we moved everyone to our capital, where the majority of our businesses are. If you're wondering how the war went we retreated many of our other regions (resulting in them losing any constructions) and then the US failed to take London and promptly retreated. Good times.

But why should you vote me? This is the tedious part where I list my experience in eRepublik. I've been playing it for some time now so I may be a bit rusty. Here it goes;
8x Elected Congressmen for the East Midlands and Northern Ireland. (Hopefully London too soon enough)
3x Country President (Prime Minister) of the eUnited Kingdom.
4x Minister of Foreign Affairs.
3x Former Minister of Home Affairs.
1x Former Minister of Work.
Former Royal Guards Captain.
Former Royal Navy Commodore.
Current Army Brigadier.
2x Party President.
Deputy Secretary General of the Phoenix Alliance.
I was on the East Midlands council for a while too.
Various underminister and Apprentice roles.

I hope now, if you had any reservations over whether or not I was any good a candidate I have put you at ease.

Being a member of The Unity Party, I will be participating in regular Party Conferences. This means that our forum going members and our Congressmen will have ever adapting policies created from both the vibrance of youth and the wisdom of experience. In other words, policy wise we are an ever adapting party, renewing our policies to match current events at least twice a month.

Personally, on parliamentary issues such as the House of Lords, I am pro reform. I feel change is good, but as long as we change it to something that will work well. I am however also open to the idea trying life without the House of Lords (having been a lord myself I can over Commons a good perspective on this topic). Discussing changes to legislation is a great way to stop the Commons going stagnant, and this particular piece always crops up in our discussion.

Being a Minister I am often consulted on issues that affect our country. Offering the house of Commons an insight that they may otherwise miss out on could greatly help them in their decision making, not only on decisions being discussed over which way the country should turn, but on legislative issues aswell.

A Vote for Woldy is a vote for experience, and a cracking chap like.

Vote Mr Woldy on the 25th, in London
