Join the new world

Hello my fellow citizens of eSA! This is George Silver here, writing my article for the congressional elections. My laptop that I do everything in eRep. on has finally crapped out on me, so it will be a little bit tougher to get on. Even so it has to be done. This is just a basic overview of what I have in mind, so please bear with me while I write up the full article later. I can not stress enough that this is just an overview and a basic outline of my plans.

1. First off, my economic plans:

Similar to my older platform, I support a plan that will help our bigger businesses keep getting better by giving them older and better trained players. On the other hand younger/inexperienced players will be enticed to join small developing businesses so that they can grow together. And for small companies that show promising growth will also be given gifts to keep their workers' wellness high until the players become trained enough to keep themselves up. If our nation needs other types of businesses, well trained/older players will be asked to join these new companies as well as being given 10 ZAR by the gov. to offset the low wages of the new jobs.

2. Now my plans to support the A.G.W.:

The party has many people, but also many two-clickers and inactive players. I promise to work alongside Tenshibo to the best of my abilities and get more people to join by showing the nation we can be just as active as any other party, and add some oomph to it! We need to have regular activity on the forums, a strong writer to empower our paper, and a vocal PP who isn't afraid to speak their mind to the people of eSA. I trust our new PP with this task, and I will help him along the way to the best of my abilities.

3. Foreign Affairs:

I feel that this is the issue we need to deal with as a nation right now. The entire eWorld sees us in a bad light because of our dealings with eBrazil. Many see us as a slave to our neighbor. While I do believe Ines' actions were needed, if not miscalculated slightly (no disrespect my Lady), I do not believe that we should continue to support our fragile "neutrality".

When you're surrounded by nations of certain alliances, a conflict is eventually going to occur that will either see us join one side or be destroyed. I personally would rather have a deal brokered between us and eAus. to attack the weakened eBrazil, but I would still respect eSA more if we would side with eBrazil and against our friends down-under. Many say we should maintain our neutrality, but I feel that if we aren't strong enough to face the bully eBrazil we will not be able to stay out of a conflict. My whole campaign is to gain us the respect we deserve after going through what we have. More will come later.

4. PTO's:

Everyone knows what they are and everyone fears them. To watch your party/nation get taken over by someone who only wishes harm is a painful sight indeed, so actions must be taken to ensure security against this. I have thought up a few ideas to deal with this. Bear with me they are works in progress so criticize if you must, just leave helpful ideas to spruce them up.

A. Cross-Party-Security-Council, or CPSC:

This council will be made up of delegates from each major party and will only be convened once rumors of a PTO arise. The delegates can NOT be the same person multiple times. The delegate will be chosen by the PP or by whatever means the party chooses, but the head of the council will be the party with the largest numbers. The council head will be the one who decides where they meet for discussions and when information discussed will be released to the public in the council head party's paper.

B. Passwords:

There have sadly been people who have had their accounts hacked, and this is a catastrophic thing that can even destroy nations. I have come up with ideas to combat this to an extent. I propose that both the President/ Vice-President and the PPs/Vice-PPs of the top five parties share a password and a response password that only the two can know.

Every day the Vice-CP or Vice-PP will ask their superior to deliver the password, and if they CP or PP fail to respond the Vice will take over until the proper password is given. This both proves that the account is safe, and that the person is active. If the Vice fails to give their password everyday they will be replaced by the CP or PP until they respond to their superior and deliver their password. If either one is acting suspicious the other must ask for the password, and if they fail to respond ASAP they must be dealt with.

C. Multi-National PTO Councils:

They will act similarly to the CPSC, but will be described later in my other articles.
