Enough is Enough

Day 780, 12:07 Published in South Africa South Africa by George Silver

This morning I woke up, did my usual business, and checked the new articles to see if any thing good was up. That is when I saw and read this article:

http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/stockholm-syndrome-esa--1132932/1/20

This article brought up something that I couldn't agree more with. Even though eBrazil has been a constant thorn in both our sides and the sides of our allies we constantly try to please them. When I first arrived I could see why we tried to constantly please the crazy gunman eBrazil who took poor eSA hostage because the threat of a second annihilation loomed overhead. But now that the gunman is weak and unable to threaten us as he once did we still try to please him.

eBrazil is weakened, eAustrailia wants their heads, and we are just sitting in the middle twiddling our thumbs and hoping for the best. Neutrality can be a good thing if it can be mantained, but if those trying to be neutral are constantly being forced to please one side it isn't going to be a lasting neutrality. Our time of "neutrality" is coming to a close soon, and the coming times will decide what sides we take. Our current leaders must both prepare for these times and take action accordingly when the time comes for us to either rise up above our weak neutrality or allow it to let eBrazil take advantage of us.

I do not call for all out open war with them right now, but we should realize how weak our neutrality is and prepare for conflict. Help nations in conflict with our enemy, support actions both national and private that will weaken our enemy, and prepare our own forces to defeat the enemy when the time comes for open war. They try to ask us for friendship, but I see it only as the enemy trying to decieve us. Their supposed acts of kindness towards us so far have only been to serve another purpose. Do not be so foolish as to believe they took the regions from us to help us beat the PTO and only saw eAustralia as a bonus. Attacking our friend and ally has always been their objective, and they just saw our troubles as a way to take advantage of poor eSA and carve a path for them to attack.

I call for all the citizens of eSA, whether you believe me or not, to prepare for the coming times of turmoil and understand how fragile our supposed neutrality truly is. Our allies have been hurt once because we failed to see the deceptions eBrazil used, let us never allow that to happen again. To the people of eAustralia, I ask you to forgive us for our former weakness and help us defeat the enemy that harmed you. To the people of eBrazil, if you read this do not take it as an open declaration of war, but as a statement of one citizen who is sick and tired of your tricks and deceptions. And to the rest of the eWorld, I tell you that we are no longer going to be the weak eSA of old that was a target of PTO's, but a new eSA that will reclaim old glories and at last become a major player on the world stage.

To all the citizens of eSA who support these ideas should know that I plan on running in the congressional elections for the AGW, and that if elected I will do my best to see my dream of a truly free eSA come true. If you don't support these ideas and think me a fool I say only this; is it better to be neutral and never know the true enemy, or to join what side you think is right and know who the enemy is? You still have the choice to not support me and still want a better eSA, so I say good luck to any and all who also run with me or against me.

Good day eSA,
