Join the new world

Hello, everyone. This will be my first article that is a part of the “Presidential Scenario” idea Kronos Q had. For more information on the scenario, please look here: Presidential Scenario #1

I'll admit that I doubt my cabinet will be exactly like this when the time comes because I know I still have a lot to learn first, and things may change by the time I do actually run. But to begin, the first position that I would have in my cabinet is one that's not at all surprising, the:

Vice President

The Vice President would be someone I knew was reliable, active, and who had eCanada's best interest in mind. They would be responsible for overseeing, and aiding the other ministers as needed, and helping me where necessary as well, while also of course making sure I don't try to become a power hungry dictator, or something along those lines.

Minister of Defense

The person in charge of military related things, basically. They would be in charge of keeping up to date with all conflicts directly, or indirectly influencing eCanada, and distributing that information as much as needed. I would also come to them for suggestions on any strategies that they come up with.

Minister of Finance/Economics

I would need to find someone who has a decent grasp of economics. It's simpler on eRepublik than in the real world, but there's still a lot of common ground too. They would be in charge of keeping track of all government funds, and if needed, of other countries as well, though I strongly doubt that last part would be an issue.

Minister of Foreign Affairs

Put simply, the person in charge of keeping, and making allies. They would also have some responsibility in terms of keeping track of foreign conflicts, but their main purpose would be to strengthen, and help relations with other countries while also providing myself, and anyone else who would need it with the proper contacts inside of other countries that we'll be working with in some form.

Minister of Information/Communication

In a world of constant war you need to know what's going on, right? My Minister of Information would be in charge of getting any information relevant to the people(such as battle orders, or unexpected events), and delivering them as fast as possible to keep everyone up to date on as many issues as possible. I may also have them keep people informed about any government programs going on, but I'll judge that at the time.

Minister of Immigration

I doubt we'll need to worry about too many Americans hopping the border, or war refugees, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't still keep track of who's going in, and out of our country as best as possible. As the saying goes, it's better to prevent than to cure. I would need to find someone willing to keep track of who's coming into our country, and hopefully why as well without putting too much on their plate. Congress is also working on creating an official stance on immigration, so they would also be in charge of enforcing whatever is decided.

Minister of Education

The Construction Program will hopefully be back in some form, and we also have the Mentor Program. I know that keeping new players interested, and allowing them to get into more social aspects of the game quickly, and easily will benefit us in the future. The Minister of Education will be in charge of keeping track of these programs, and if needed, coming up with suggestions of modifying, or adding in programs.
