Published on day 1649
For starters I want to point something out, you guys are awesome! Guess which MU in the USA did the most kills on day 1647? . . . ok you can probably see the image below and already know you did! Good work EZC!

Now onto the stats and the competition, which you have been waiting for. After three days the first part of the Regiment competition has come to a close and the top eight regiments have been ranked and placed into a tournament bracket for the second part of the competition.

After three days of tough competition here are all 13 regiments ranked 1-13 with the total average kills per member number after their regiment name followed by their small prizes for advancing to the second roun😛

And here is the tournament bracket thats been set up for the second part of the regiment competition:

We have some very interesting first round matchups to start off the competition on Monday. The Raiders (4th Regiment) will take on the top ranked Cannon Cockers (11th Regiment) is a battle of David vs. Goliath, but with future matchups how much do the Cannon Cockers push in the first round, do they save up for later round and risk being taken out by David?

The two middle matches pair up Second to None (2nd Regiment) against the Snipers (6th Regiment) and MU Enhancement (8th Regiment) against the Fighting Fifth (5th Regiment) in two very even matches. These 4 regiments have been jumping around each other in the rankings and there both matches are a toss up.

But the match of the first day is clearly between the Ghosts (10th Regiment) and Tactical Command (3rd Regiment) in the 2nd vs 7th match. Two regiments both capable of putting up insane numbers and two of the more organized regiments who both were favored to possible make it to the championship, however only one will move onto the semifinal round on Tuesday.

Just a reminder, the second part of the competition starts on Monday! So you have the weekend off to rebuild your supplies (small prizes for advancing should help a lot) as well as come up with a plan. Look at who you're facing in the first round, who you may face in the second round, etc. and figure out how much effort you want to put into each round. You can’t go all out for three straight days, so figure out a plan (which might have to be adjusted on the fly) and good luck next week!

Just one more thing to add before we get to the individual part. We realize that some regiments may try to recruit players just for this tournament from other regiments that did not advance. This is not going to be allowed, we have been keeping track of everything and have a list of players for each regiment currently and only those players currently in a regiment will count for the tournament part. This will prevent someone from a regiment that doesn’t advance to join one that does and drop 200+ kills and change the outcome of the tournament even though they were not in the regiment earlier.
As for the individual part of the competition, we are halfway through and already are seeing some really amazing numbers. Here is a list of the top killers of the MU over the course of the last 3 days, the cut off is 225 kills total or more right now (or someone averaging 75+ kills per day over the course of three days):

We are halfway through so you have 3 more days to rack up more kills and get yourself higher on the list. If you are not on the list then you have a lot of catching up to do, but you are still in the competition. Like the regiment competition, the individual competition is taking a short weekend break (since people are generally less active on the weekend) so get ready and start going all out again next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!
Good work people, congrats to the 8 regiments that are moving on to the second part of the competition, your small rewards (aka replenish supplies prizes) will be sent to your captain shortly and he will distribute it among the regiment. Use these to help restock after 3 days of lots of killing and get ready for the next part of the competition. The bonus kill ending number (still haven’t come up with a good name for this) will be published early Monday morning.

For those regiments that did not advance, don’t worry, the War Games looks like its going to turn into a monthly thing, so start training and get ready to do this all over again next month, but hit a little harder next time. For those who still think they are in the individual competition, take a short two day weekend break and get back to hitting next Monday-Wednesday to put yourself in a position to win it.

An article will be published tomorrow with updated Winners Prizes (things have changed a little bit) and clarifications of the rules, if anyone wants to make a donation to add to the prize pool (though your donation will probably get thrown into next month's war games) just contact me via PM and we can talk.
If you are a little confused as to what is all going on, an in depth article with all the rules and regulations as well as prizes and medals explanations can be found here. If you have any questions feel free to ask and someone will answer them.
