With the divisional changes it is my belief that not fighting for the ‘new’ citizen is the most important thing they can do, coming here dailying and working, training, collecting the daily bonus and not fighting is paramount to a ‘new’ citizen; I remember a time in eRepublik when I was encouraged not to fight, work a commune, train daily and someday I might be strong enough for the ‘elites’ to hand me a few pistols -and no Daily Bonus, oh my. I owe my strength to two programs, the Department of Interior’s Bank Up 2 Strengthen Up and my beloved Easy Company Military Fitness Academy

A fine article on the god of all Plato’s reasoning behind this sudden tsunami of change by Derphoof titled, Why Plato Changed Divisions, covers it pretty thoroughly and I pretty much agree. I see this as a crossroads for America and this game. The question now becomes will the well established citizens of eRepublik -the gold beast, step up and be philanthropic enough to continue what they already do anyway. Will they continue to dominate the battlefield themselves or aid America and spread the wealth?



One of the biggest issues that almost all citizens agree with is that the balance of power seems to still lie with the ‘Serbian Camp’, a nice article covering this was publish by David Wilson -Alliance Showdown - Sirius vs Asturia.

Everyone must also agree that numbers don’t lie, however if those numbers can not be applied properly they are just so many charts; a country must be able to put boots on the ground. It is unfortunate that at this time of change Easy Company’s MFA is full, never fear cause my Tin Hat is heatin up; ...correctamoondoe, I have a idea.

America can no longer depend on government funded Military Units (GMU), too many citizens know how to not pay their share of Income Taxes. It is the new citizens who, when they can least afford it; end up working for low wages and paying taxes or in a privately funded Military Unit (PMU) being ‘paid’ in supplies. In the past MUs ‘paid’ their soldiers with a set amount of ‘supplies’, in it’s day this worked fine and for high strength soldiers it will still work. However, what about those who sit and work, train and not fight; those who sacrifice now so that they will be smart and strong when it really counts for America.

My hope is that the Department of Interior will consider sponsoring a new regiment, the Black Knights; to be made up of low strength Division 1 soldiers along with those recently demoted by Plato who need the help. The idea being of course to build a strong Division 1, which in turn will become a strong Division 2: etc...etc…. Now the problem with this is patience, some of us got it; some of us don’t.

IMHO, America’s biggest goal right now is to train a truly National Military who wants to be loyal to America, not one bribed with government funding; it is also my hope that Easy Company -in a spirit of Brotherhood- will allow qualified soldiers from other American MUs to take part in this new regiment. Spreading Easy’s knowledge, teaching our Cadets patience and our military discipline to Brother Units can only help America; in the end it should always be about America.

Gnilraps for President of the United States.

Easy Company has proven time and time again that as a PMU we put boots on the ground. Our disciplined mass attacks -to which even our Cadets show up- remind me of the heady days when soldiers from all over the world coordinated and met on IRC, for some that was the dead of the night; to fight for America. That quality of community service comes from leadership, it comes from the top down and the Easy Company Officer Corps understands this principle. A principle taught to them by our Easy Company Founder and America's next President.

America must be able to swiftly move to respond to the changing tides of Foreign Policy, when I joined eRepublik no one could have imagined America would be taking up arms with the United Kingdom -instead of against them; and don’t even start me on Poland and Spain. In order to meet those demands America needs a strong patient highly disciplined leader. I can think of none better to do that job than Our Founder.

There will be many who lay claim to this citizen or that citizen’s foreign policy that paved the way for these changes, there is never any news from this arena of government so for me personally -as well as most citizens- I do not know who did what; all I know is that for the last two months an Easy Soldier has led this country and another wishes to follow him -Our Founder.

In the days of America’s Pacific Rim expansion, when America almost kicked in the back door to Europe; the only good Redcoat was a dead Redcoat. It was also an era in which America first became entangled in the web of an Alliance, an alliance that stood long and died hard; but like all other alliances in the end failed. The only type of community which has survived the test of time and politics in this new world is Brotherhood, something that Easy Company has in Spades.
