Election Fever

Firstly, you would have noticed that Serbia has attacked London. The Government has been assured that it is nothing to worry about - one of the new functions of the War Module is that when a war is open between to countries who share borders, an attack will automatically initiate after a certain time has elapsed. (My least favourite rule, and one that has just cost me a pair of trousers)

As you can see by our current string of victories, it’s nothing to worry about. Serbia don’t intend to win, and we have adequate support to see us through. The army is using the opportunity to kit out it’s members, so if you haven’t already enlisted - learn how to do so here!



Elections

Now onto the real purpose of this article - a quick thank you to everyone who was kind enough to vote for me yesterday, and an even quicker thank you to those who considered the ‘hidden message’ in my avatar and voted for someone else. Much to my own surprise, I received the most votes in the country, a total of 93 and for that I am truly grateful. I won’t be letting you down anytime soon.

I hope to centre my frame of mind on having fun, which even on a browser game isn’t always easy. Those of you in my friends list may follow my shouts, and may consequently think I am a nutter. You may be right, I could be crazy. But it might just be a lunatic you’re looking for.

Remember though, I am your friendly neighbourhood lunatic, who also knows a thing or two about having a good time and running an eCountry, and doing both at the same time.

But why on earth am I telling you this?
I enjoyed yesterdays election so much, that I thought I would just keep on going. On the 5th of March, I intend (brace yourselves) to run for Country President. The fact of the matter is I’ve been itching to run again, and after months of begging someone has actually let me.



What I feel is special about this month is that I hope to unite our top 6 parties under one candidate, something that rarely ever happens in the eUK and hasn’t happened for years. It will be a tricky goal, but I have a strong jaw and expert tongue to help persuade people. So, I shall be contacting PP’s to open discussion over support for my campaign over the next few days.

Now a little bit about how I feel:

Having fun is something I am especially eager to do, since we joined PanAm, which in my opinion opens up a wide variety of opportunities to have some fun, and not in the old mundane ways which we have tolerated these past months - being invaded.

Needless to say fun is what I am about, initiating wars with the USA, Sweden, and more recently Ireland are some of my favourite achievements - little things that brighten our eDays.

I’ve already put some thought into how we can have renewed fun, and I’ve already got a bundle of ideas. With the new war module, it may take about a week to implement should you elect me, but I feel that a renewed, different kind of fun is what we need to really spur some interest - and as we have found our feet in PanAm, we have a real opportunity to find that fun.

With my domestic, foreign, military and even a splash of financial experience, I am a superbly rounded candidate with some flashy ideas and a thirst for some excitement. I know it is early days, but if you elect me, I intend to make this game awesome.
