eJapan will be our New Neighbor?!
Leojane Zhu
You have already known that we have three old neighbors: eChina, eRussia and eSouth Korea (Since Kangwon is rent to eChina, we don't share border with eSouth Korea currently.).You also have already known that Admin Plato likes changes.
So now we have ANOTHER CHANGE! AGAIN!
http://forum.erepublik.com/showthread.php/106898-New-countries-and-new-neighborhoods-in-the-New-World!
A bridge will be set up by Plato and eJapan will be our 4th neighbor.
Good news? Bad news? I don't know. I'd like to watch for some time.
I know that some of our citizens were from eJapen. Please share us what you know about eJapen. That will be very useful information.
Thanks for reading.

BTW,eSouth Korea set eJapan as NE recently.

Voted. Maybe a good news for eNK.
Now it has a possibility of generating an alliance between eNK and eJapan to against eSK.
stupid question
is it possible to exchange for aluminium with iron?
@HeiIp
I think you're asking a good question, it's not a stupid one at all.
I think there's a possibility to swap land with eJapan. But I doubt whether it is worthy.
Swapping land requires wars, it costs a lot of gold. Wars are uncertain, and full of troubles. To small countries, it is a bit risky. Refer to the land swapping plan between eROC and eSK last month. You can understand what I mean.
Suppose we can succeed to get the aluminum resource, there's still something to consider. We're not short of companies, but short of labor. Is there going to be enough benefit?
But on the other hand, we can train our army in swapping land plan.
So to answer your question, I think there're some cases need to be studie😛
1. What and how much benefit can we get by swapping land with eJapan?
2. Do we have enough gold to afford wars?
3. Do we have enough military force or allies to protect ourselves?
And some uncertainty:
1. Plato didn't say when the change launch.
2. President and Minister of Foreign Affairs may have other plans.
One more thing to add, we and eJapan are under country trading embargoes now. It will expire in 12 days.
Ronia was the CP of eROC last month. You can refer to his newspaper to see how they swap land with eSK. They were doing the swapping almost the whole month.

One thing to correct:
Admin announced the change, it said the change were about to launch on Jan 19.
But it is Plato's time of governing.
I'm not sure whether the change is going to happen.
Anyway, I kindly ask the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs study this case.
@Leojane Zhu
I think it was because the eSK government didn't consult the citizens well, and that's why the president was impeached? It looked like the government wanted an exchange but the citizens didn't. But of course we don't know whether the eJap citizens want it or not. And you've mentioned that gold is a problem.
@Heilp
Not only shall we concern the citizens' willings and gold, but also be careful of medal hunters. Medal hunters LOVE wars between small countries. Small countries ususally don't have too much military influence. Medal Hunters can harvest their BH and CH easily. We may not get the result we want during the swapping. What's worse, the war may get ourselves hurt. This case happened to eROC and eSK last month. That's why I mentioned them.
@Leojane Zhu, the war between eJ and eSK is a training war!
and, Here is Ads of YCN...haha

Yes, YCN is a great newspaper! I strongly recommand it. It covers events and news around e-asia and e-world. Very useful and very interesting. Don't miss it.

作為一個在e11區混生活的e兲朝移民,表示鴨梨不大
e北棒應該和e11區之間應該只有訓練戰吧
畢竟沒有世仇,且還有e米國的關係在裡面,你懂的。。。
eSK-eRoC got messed up because the eSK government consisted of what some believe to be a Romanian PTO group (having impeached the RL Korean president).
That plus eSK was/is too weak to hold non-core regions from anyone wanting a medal or two.
We should consider an alliance with Japan, but countries in Europe should be forefront in our alliances
@Kim Young
I think we can keep a friendly relationship with eJapan. But I don't think it necessary to have a MPP. We probably don't have that much gold.
Yes, that`s my point. eJapan participates rare in fights so It is not necessary to have an alliance with them
We can easily open an embassy in Japan without dumping gold on them for an unnecessary MPP. I could do the honors myself if you'd like to go with this cost efficient approach. Embassies also create a middle man for negotiations.
That's a new way to attack eSK!
