Eden advances in SA, PHX sets quarter goals, begins to weave a web around India

Phew, took a while to squeeze all that in to a headline.

First I want to apologize for not writing new articles though there has been some interesting events around the world, my computer is finally living her final days and I intend to get a new one next weekend, which might possibly result in to a new, brief break in writing. Anyways, it has been hard to run a text editor and internet browser at the same time and I don’t want to take the risk of writing a long article in the eRepublik text editor and see it vanish when it throws you in to the first page instead of publishing it. I know it has happened to everyone who has written at least 5 articles.

Therefore I haven’t written any articles lately. I’m glad to see Lt. Scheisskopf keeping you informed during my absence and in the future you will be provided with two newspapers full of information about the events around the eWorld and their backgrounds as regularly as possible.

Eden gains more ground in South Africa, tosses Brazil from their Titanium.

After the retarded conclusion of Western Australia, the Aussies fighting spirit was broken and Brazil took back the two regions they conquered during the previous great success when Eden conquered additional 4 regions from Argentinian/Brazilian occupation. Western Australia is now very permanently Indonesian, denying Australia to continue the liberation attempts of South Africa due to WA serving as the bordering chokepoint. South Africa however is doing a fine job themselves as it doesn’t matter if they lose a battle, because every region they gain is permanently captured from Brazil and Argentina as they can’t attack SA and activate MPP😒.

After Australia left the scene, Eden turned to primarly aid South Africa and after their war declaration against Brazil, a string of victories leading to this day has left all but one region to the hands of the occupators. The most important region liberated was the region of Gauteng, the only source of Titanium Brazil possessed. The battle ended in to a succesful Eden tank rush who turned the outcome of the battle within the last five minutes. The fairly easy victory has raised questions, did the Brazilian government do their best to protect the region as there is still over 6,000 Gold in the Brazilian country accounts, which were not used in to tanking despite the importance of the region. The almighty Serbian mobile armies dropped their daily 500k there but Hungarian support was surprisingly low.
Also the population of the region was very low despite it’s importance. Poland has transported almost 10,000 people to secure high wood, but Brazil was unable to move even 2000 to protect future titanium despite their population being only a few thousand below the United States. It appears that the Brazilian babyboom is quickly withering, because the new-born babies were not provided with something intriguing to do before they lost interest to continue playing.

On the same day Brazil was completely ejected from SA as a joint Croatian-Swedish ninja tank effort liberated the region of Mpumalanga. Brazil had earlier released the regions bordering WA, which serves no purpose though as the region was held by Indonesians already. It is likely they expected the region to be reversed for Australia and took pre-emptive actions.

Encouraged by the successes against Brazil, South Africa has now attacked the Argentinian held fortress in Limpopo. Over 4mil damage has been already dealt within the first 14h of the battle. A major tank operation is expected to occur at the end of the battle.
It should also be noted that the battle for Limpopo is a landmark event as it is the 10000. battle ever waged in eRepublik. This gives an average of 11 battles every day, and it must be noted that there were about 200 days without the war module during the early days of eRepublik.

Were Limpopo to be liberated, SA will for the first time ever in about 2 years possess full independence. They had it for a few minutes when the goon president land swapped to activate Brazilian MPP😒, but that doesn’t really count as it didn’t last for too long.
However, the vast importance and the sparse population accompanied with many regions make SA a perfect target for a new PTO. Eden has to be alerted as there is a PTO threat looming over USA, who have the most effective ATO unit in the Allied Nations, and therefore they might not be able to participate in fending off the possible PTO:ers. If South Africa is again PTO:ed, Eden and USA are back in square one after spending thousands of Gold to liberate this hard-lucked nation.

PHX sets aggressive goals for the future, begins to glare over India and Karnataka.

In an article advising Phoenix citizens to move in to certain locations, PHX HQ also set out four goals for four different PHX nations to conquer. Two of them are exaggerated, but Brazil’s goal to conquer the Polish iron colony in Great Andes, Peru and specially the Serbian intent to claim high wood from India seem to be pretty rational goals.

Phoenix has critical assets in Asia to take care of in the form of the hearts of Hungarian and Serbian empires, the two iron regions of China. Completing PHX dominance in this region by making Indonesia a new economic powerhouse with Titanium in WA and iron in Karnataka, and collecting a new resource to fuel Serbia’s economy seem like goals worth gunning for.

Indonesia has shown their intents by constantly attacking USA-held Southern Thailand and releasing a MoFA statement of attempts to snatch Karnataka from the United States.
Serbia was gifted wih a free war from the hot headed Indian nationalists, and this puts away one obstacle of mounting an offensive against them.
India indeed declared war against Serbia to capture back Rajasthan which fell to Serbia when China unsuccesfuly moved there to challenge Serbia over their outpost in Sindh. Serbia, being a huge country would have had to spend thousands of Gold to declare war on India or in return attack a nation who have an MPP with them, both undesirable options for them. Now they are aided by the Indian government who waged war on them.

India, being similar to SA in strategic importance, low pop and lots of regions, is in huge danger of falling to a PTO in the next congressional elections, and if I were Eden HQ, I’d start to form organized ATO units early before the election day to secure these two nations.

- All Finnish regions are in hands of the Allied nations as Finland won Russia in Aland with the help of significant Polish aid at the same time Norway, using an activated MPP with Spain pushed Russia from Lapland and Oulu. Finland hosts an auction from the RW medals to collect additional cash and after it ends Finland will claim her remaining regions back.

- Turkey attacked Israel, but Greece quickly showed them off. I never understood the motive of this move. It did'nt serve any strategical purpose.

- Phoenix won three RW😒 in occupied Germany. Germany still lacks their original capital, a northern province held by Sweden and the Spanish occupied Saxony. The Polish president is fulfilling his election promise and is releasing the minor regions back to France. Currently the part of the Polish population who can’t move to aid SA are requested to hit red in the RW in North Calais and liberate it back to the French.
