Another month has passed in my life as citizen of Canada, and as my political experience within this great nation has evidently improved, I think the time has come for me to run for the most important office in our nation, that being the President of Canada.

I am writing this article with the main intention of presenting my candidature and therefore getting myself a place in the CPF primary. Thus, this article will not present my Executive and neither will it present any detailed plan for my possible presidential term.

First of all, for this upcoming month, I think the most important thing every president should focus on (in my opinion) is developing the foreign affairs. As the whole system of alliances is being dramatically changed, the time has come for us and Asgard to follow the rest of the world in re-aligning ourselves and finding new countries whom we share a common interest with. This can't be done if you main focus isn't foreign affairs. I should also stress the importance that everything we do must be done in common accordance with our Asgard fellows, and as I have been staying in the Asgard HQ for the last three months, I think I have enough friends and experience to cooperate with them into getting ourselves successfully re-aligned on the world stage. Some may interpret this as Canada changing sides, but be sure that there isn't any side to be changed - in this moment we are caught in the middle, and if we don't act fast we'll end up with no allies. As in with some suggestion that Asgard and CUA should unite, I don't think this is right. Asgard is doing well as it is now, and so is CUA. Creating a bigger alliance would only bring more issues inside it.

Another important issue is the Spanish occupation. It is of uttermost importance that any future elected government will respect the sovereign will of the Canadian people and not negotiate anything that might be seen as a surrender for Spain. As our fellow African American would say: Ain't no money, ain't no region, ain't nothing for these fgts! But there are surely ways to get out of this counter-productive occupation, that will not require us giving money or any territory at all. One only has to look at what has been happening on the world stage in these last few days to sort out what do I mean. Another thing I must stress is that there are people who would do anything to see Canada back on map: don't. The only thing that not being wiped gives us is a Congress and some bonuses. Trust me that we can easily manage being wiped and still have a functioning government.

As with my Cabinet, I do not believe in big Cabinets. My Cabinet will be small and made of very competent people, who would do all their best to fight for the interest and common good of the Canadian nation. As I don't believe in parties being more important than people, my Cabinet will have people from all parties, because in every single party one could find competent people, always there for Canada in times of need like these. I don't need a Cabinet of people giving advice, I need a Cabinet of people doing things. I have a lot of people giving advice in the mass MU coordination PMs.

It also of great relevance the situation we currently have Canada in: as there is no Congress, following the Tenets of the CPF I will put the game mechanics above anything else: and the game mechanics currently give the President very big powers. I will not use those powers without advice from the Cabinet and the Canadian people, through popular consultation in my presidential addresses. The sovereign will of the Canadian people will always be more important than anything else.

Of course one of my main goals for this month is to get Canada back on the map, and therefore get Canada a congress, but I cannot guarantee I will surely do it or that it will be easy. Time and international situation will say. We do have the war fund set up by incumbent president Homer, and this would be continued if I win the election, because it has brought a lot of good things to our country. If we get a Congress, I will be the first to propose a MU funding law, because our dear MUs need money now more than any other time. But on my term, finances will not be on the first place. And there's no way they could be - we're in times of war, we're in times when the system of alliances is dramatically changing - nobody got time for finances.

At the end of the day, some of you may think I do not have the experience that others may have, but I will do my best. With a good team and with my previous experience as MoFA of Canada, I can guarantee a very interesting month if I will be elected.

But first of all, I have to convince my fellow CPFers to win the primary...
