Dear Spain and Poland

Day 865, 20:45 Published in USA USA by Joseph Schmo

We in the eUSA have been good friends with you for an extremely long time (as long as I can remember, in fact). Recently, however, things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. Some of your most prominent citizens have decided to conspire with the enemy in an effort to, as it appears, take down a nation that has been a huge ally of yours for as long as we can all remember.

Admitedly, this took me by surprise. After playing this game for over a year, I never thought that either of you would ever consider attacking the United States. I always considered the two of you some of our most loyal allies, despite the disagreements we may have had in the past (and, I will admit, we have had a few).

Unfortunately, it does not appear as if you have left yourselves with many options. At this point, I highly doubt that our government is willing to trust either of you again for a very long time. However, I am sure that if you attempted to reconcile with us and tried to regain our trust, over time relations could be repaired. Sadly, I am not sure I see that happening. I may just be a lowly American citizen, but I know broken relations when I see them, and I am not sure that your leaders are willing to help us fix them.

Of course, if you are not willing to help mend our relations, then the only option left is for us to remain enemies. While I sincerely hope that does not happen, I fear that is where we are headed. If it is, and once again, I really hope it is not, there is one thing I have to say to you:

I've always wanted to visit Madrid and Warsaw.

Sincerely yours,
General Joseph Schmo
