Evening all,

In the political module, the pinnacle of any political career is CP. In the military module, the pinnacle of a career may be MU commander or MoD. So, what is the pinnacle of a career in the economic module?

Being a wealthy business owner is as high as you can go unless you take up politics and try for MoF or fund a MU. There is no economic equal to being a CP and running a country of a thousand players or commanding a MU and sending hundreds of soldiers to war. The closest we can come is to run a company with dozens of employees but even that’s become rarer and less challenging.

I believe there should be something greater, something to aspire to. Imagine a module that gave players a chance to create and build massive economic empires, where massive businesses hire dozens of players to manage its various companies nationwide, or even multi-national businesses that could hire hundreds. Brands could become a major part of the economic landscape, stocks and shares could be bought and sold around the world, the economy could become one based on market strategy and skill rather than one based on undercutting one’s competitors.

Of course this would need to be accompanied by other changes to the economic module, of which I will go into more detail in future articles.

Until next time.
