Congress Elections
Hung Hei Gun
Citizens of eRepublik,
As you all know, the Congress elections are coming up soon. I would like to persuade you to vote for the Chinese Equality Party. The more Congressmen that are from this party, the more we'll be able to help our country. eChina is currently enduring harsh economic times. Inflation rates are high, exports are low, and high quality food is scarce. If you vote for the Chinese Equality Party (I'm also running for Congressman), I will try to persuade our Party and Congress (if I'm elected) to help our economy and extend our power.

Please say how you're going to help the economy.
"eChina is currently enduring harsh economic times. Inflation rates are high, exports are low, and high quality food is scarce."
Inflation rates are high-
yes, which is why a higher tax would be beneficial. With less CNY in circulation, the CNY will slowly deflate. See Benn's article here
http://www.erepublik.com/ro/article/-dover-doctrine-rome-wasn-t-built-in-a-day--742852/1/20
and my article outlining the DPC's position below
'exports are low'
yes, because we need all of the food we can muster here. Before the food crisis I was exporting food to the USA. Would you prefer I keep doing this?
"high quality food is scarce"
I was going to upgrade my Q2 company to a Q3 and let Logo handle the Q2 market in eChina, but we have the food crisis to think of. I have raised the prices on my products, not for personal gain, but to stop it from selling out as quickly as it has been. It seems to have worked, as we still have food on the market ATM.
my jobs are filling, and as they do, we will have more and more food on the market. As soon as I feel Logos company can handle the demand for Q2 food alone, I will upgrade to Q3.
eChina- the DPC is no longer run by indos. they have left for the most part. the DPC and CEP can work hand in hand to bring us out of this conflict. In the meantime, I urge you to vote for the party that has actually stated its position for a strong eChina.

The CEP will be unveiling its platform in the days to come, no worries.
I am not sure how my party plans to fix the economy, which makes me a little ashamed. However, I can tell you how I think the economy can be fixed. First, I agree with Wojtowicz Chinese Investments. I too think a higher tax rate would benefit us. Second, I think exports of food should be kept to a minimum. However, exports of other items should increase as much as possible, preferably if the product’s quality is above three. To make more exportable items, more companies should be made in eChina. When their quality is high, then we should raise import taxes so more of our citizens will buy products of eChina. The income tax should also be raised a little when this happens. Lastly, I understand that food companies will slowly upgrade. I currently encourage more food companies to be built and the food quality brought up. Once this happens, then you can follow the plan listed above.
hung hei- eChina does not even have enough employees to work for our food companies. how do you expect companies to find enough employees to operate these high-quality businesses?
the DPC would be against government funding of any companies, if that is what you are implying. the private sector can work it out with a little nudging here and there.
Again, as stated in Benn Dover's article above, I am against raising import taxes. eChina can produce products cheaper than any importer, and so any imports to eChina that will actually be bought by Chinese citizens are products we need. Let's not shut ourselves off to the world.
Notice that:
myself and Czar McCartney, the owners of eChina's 3 most profitable companies, belong to the DPC

Vote DPC in the coming elections.
voted laffo !!
Well...I'll have to admit. I did not do much research on eChina's economy. It wasn't easy to find. This is my idea. I don't find it necessary to have anyone support it or agree with me. I'm just stating what I think will help eChina. I'm not sure if my party supports government funding of companies, but I didn't say support companies by funding. Now that I know we produce cheaper products, then I no longer support a higher import tax. I think we should make more products and export them because they're cheaper and might sell faster in foreign countries. If there is a shortage of workers, then more people need to be persuaded to move to eChina to help us.
a citizen expansion program actually is a pretty good idea. I think Logo is working (or should be at least.) on that at the moment.
So what would you say, Laffopuritain, to be the top priority of eChina right now? I think it's getting more citizens. I don't think we can get very far if we don't have many people.

beijing.... a neutral, peaceful country, with under-employment and some high resources is a citizen relocation program of its own
and after that...maybe a subsidized or SOE ticket company to get the people here 😃
i don't quited understand wat u mean but i'm assuming u mean that the citizens in beijing don't like it there and we should help them move to here?
Well, it would certainly help if we have more citizens. The lack of people is shocking.
I still believe the acquisition of Beijing should be our #1 priority.
with it, we will have a high resource region, more companies, and more willing citizens. There is nothing better to woo a citizen to move to eChina than the promise of a better life. Beijing would offer that hope.
