1| Introduction

For those of you who are just now learning about the Census Bureau we are the External ( out of game ) Recruitment Department within the American Government. Our job is to increase the number of new active American Citizens. We are hoping to increase the numbers by at least 100 for the rest of the month but the only way we will get there is with you help!

2| Department Changes

It's no secret we have been under the spotlight as not much was done the first 2 weeks of the departments creation by Tyler Bubblar at the beginning of his first term. However that was rectified as Dave Guyla ( Press Secretary ) was made the new Director; replacing Greeling, at that time I had just been a Staffer / Consultant.

After nearly a month with Dave's leadership we launched the departments first contest and although it didn't get the participants nor entries we expected it was later determined to be the result of the short time line. After our first missteps we quickly regrouped and learned from that Contest, so we moved forward with the second contested after speaking with the Party Presidents of the Top 5 parties. After 2 weeks we have amassed a good amount of entries with all of them being valid!

Last week another major change was done as Dave was promoted to Operational Commander with in the United States Armed Forces ( USAF ); our Official National Military Unit. I want to take a moment to thank Dave for doing such a great job and I wish you the best of luck with you activities in the USAF. Now getting back on point with Dave being promoted to a position requiring more of his time I was approached by Tyler and asked if I would take over the department. I gladly accepted the position and here we are now, there is a vast more to come in the future from this department and you can expect at least one article every other day. As a reminder the contest is still going and we have already surpassed the original contest in amount of participants and entries. The contest is still on going until Halloween night so make sure to get your entries in asap ... 50 up for grabs!
