CDV for Congress - the Trilogy

Day 728, 00:49 Published in Malaysia New Zealand by Carr De Vaux

Hi fellow eMalaysians,

I am going to write a brief statement of intent, considering the perilous situation our beloved nation is in at the moment. I intend to run for Congress again - the third time - hence the Trilogy - under DAP ticket at the Peninsular Malaysia. In the past, i have outlined my clear vision for this great nations and my plans for the education reforms as well as various standpoint on the national policies:

CDV's Election platform - as YOUR congressman! (edited)
My inaugural article for the Erepublik - CDV for Congress!

Instead of telling you all my visions and dreams for this nation - i would like to take this congressional election to appeal to all my fellow eMalaysians, as well as readers from other e-nations -

Vote with your conscious mind, not with your narrow heart. Vote for active, visible, mature and contributing Congressmen. Vote for democracy, civic rights, free speech and transparency. Vote for candidates, not for political parties. If i could, i would love to list out a bunch of excellent national figures to are fit to be your congressmen/women. But alas, i am certain my list would not be exhausive and i bound to miss out a few names. However, there are a few individuals/current congress representatives, in my humble opinions that should be voted into congress - for their inmeasurable experience, knowledge and contribution in the past 30 days:
► Nagyzee ► Vikta ► Gertrude Groan ► Fragreg
► Nicholas2000 ► gen-tiger ► seanlam ► archmage
► cerasus ► MartyMcFly1985 ► AlienSK ► Jeff Shiiste
► Badlands17 ►SHBalage and of course ► Carr de Vaux

I would like to add that this congressional election may be very important in one aspect. With the constant threats from eIndo, there will be critical congress decision in the next 30 days - that may lead to either prosperous or turbulous days for all eMalaysians. Please vote for candidates that pledge neutrality, peace and pro-Sol (provided it remains neutral and non-aggresive) and do not support Pro-Peace/Pro-Eden/Pro-Brolliance candidates

We will be voting for 30 candidates this time, instead of the traditional 40 (or 36 last term) since we lost all the eThai regions over the recent RWs. There will be 9 for each region (Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia) and 3 wild cards. Of course, this is assuming eIndo has not breached our defence till then. In having so many candidates confined to few regions, there will be less influence for votes mobilisation and basically, the most popular candidates will win. I am sure in coming days, in the name of national security or eIndo wars - some might suggest to tone down the internal politicking and concentrate on military issues. So, i say, let's vote the capable and active congressman, not another Bill Forder.

Lastly, i would like to suggest to some eMalaysians to be prepared to be mobilised to assist our neighbours against any possible PTO (political take overs) efforts. Now that eThai has so many regions, it is more vulnerable than ever to PTO. FRoSEA spirit lives on!

Again, I thank you in advance for your votes and support. 🙂

Regards,

Carr De Vaux
DAP Congressman of Penisular Malaysia

ps: This newspaper is currently ranked no 8 with 115 subscribers in eMalaysia. Thank you all for subscribing! Considering the two Government newspapers, one joke newspaper and Nagyzee's Book of Sand plus 3 other foreign newspapers are my 'competitors' - i am rather pleased to be in the top ten newspapers page now. 🙂 ThankS! Terima Kasih!
