Case in Point 1: Take a Chance

Welcome to the first edition of my escapades into legitimate citizenship trolling, the aptly entitled ‘Case in Point’.
This is an open article, and the main purpose is to get you, the community, involved. Here are the rules of the game:
1) The objective of the game is to see how many messages you can get from someone purely via questions and nonsensical statements/anecdotes.
2) The only valid candidates to be contacted are Irishmen. A complete listing can be found at:
Irish Citizens
3) Messaging Irish friends to win the competition is not allowed.
4) A leaderboard of the top five conversations will be hosted in this article, and the top scorer will be reposted in any future editions of Case in Point.
5) There is a time limit of six hours from your first included message to get as many responses as possible.
6) Spam is not allowed. Please stay civil and within the rules of eRepublik.
A secondary goal is to ensure that Irishmen get to meet fellow people from across the world. Think of it as a slightly more stupid pen-pal system.

I just don't understand why the Irish are so against my idea. It seems like a great way to get in touch with other nationalities in a time when we sorely need new allies.

A competition to troll random people?
Seems a great way to annoy the population.
Who said anything about trolling? This is an organised movement to ensure that pen-pals are made. By having a contest to see who can get the most responses, this suggests that the two people had an interesting conversation, and not mere negativity or pleasantries.

Neither "absurd" nor "humorous" are nouns, Bhane, and you've got a superfluous comma.
Oh, and what does "by it is very nature" mean?
They are indeed adjectives, but they don't describe anything.

And I know what trolling is, and English is my native language, and I'm obviously quite a bit better at it than you, judging from your inability to pick up on your failure to spell "its" correctly even after I pointed it out to you.

While you could argue that I was trolling, the fact remains that I am 100% correct. We are not speaking Japanese, you are not allowed to imply your nouns. "It's" means "it is," it is not the possessive form of "it," that would be "its."
