Stop it Chochi. You know that poll is almost 100 days old and has no reflection on the current mood of the populace. DMV did say in his election campaign that he planned to keep us neutral for September. Guess his agenda had to move ahead.
I never said that the poll should be used to justify DMV3's decision, I was merely pointing out that we didn't in fact reject joining CoT in that poll as blooped claimed. There was no meaning behind my post other than to point out that blooped was - is lying too harsh? - let's going with the less direct, "not being factual in his assessment on the situation regarding recently conducted polls."

He wasn't lying. The 'Join CoT' option lost in the referendum. That's what he said. The 'we all...' part is a stretch, but in the end it was rejected just the same.

blooped didn't say that we rejected joining CoT, he said that "that we all vote[ed] no" to joining CoT in a referendum two months ago. I have merely given the results of that survey to show that in fact a majority of respondents didn't say no but had actually chosen yes.
Don't try to make this a question of semantics. He said something, it was false, this was proven to be false.
Any issue that you may want to discuss about the validity of this referendum - or the choices made by this government - are fine to have but they are separate to my one, very clear point.
You're the one arguing semantics here Chochi. If, during that referendum the citizens had voted to join CoT, then I would agree. On the whole the votes were to remain with Asgard which is a clear, collective, "no" to CoT.

Yes he said he wasn't going to join an alliance in September, however, politics is a game of moving pieces and sometimes the pieces move in away that is very much to your advantage and so you find you have to act. For me, it would have been a greater tragedy to NOT act, than to go back on a promise that no longer seemed to make sense. That's just my 2 cents though.
