Today marks The Ides of March, the date in which Caesar was betrayed and stabbed 23 times. It has a particular significance to me, because as you know, I plan to restore the Roman Empire one day, first in eRepublik and eventually in the real world.
Fellow supporters of freedom, you have your orders. They have not changed. You know what to do. Remember, I am not just Caesar. WE are Caesar. The entire Senate, meaning the elites, is trying to stab us to destroy what we stand for. They are afraid that we think differently. They are afraid that we believe in American principles and values. Let these Ides of March spell the beginning of the end for tyranny in America. It's time to take our country back. It's time to take the daggers from their hands and push it right back in them. It's time to ask a VERY important question.
Those who oppose us in this game have taken real life hatred and beliefs and injected it where it does not belong. I, and some of you who are with me, have been putting up with this rubbish for close to three years now. They can make up all the propaganda that they want, but do not forget that I am the most hated person to Pfeiffer in this entire game. He has nothing better to do but to go after me, and those who claim to dislike him will never lay a finger on him. At any rate, these people are just very sad and misguided. Let me quote the last words of the greatest philosopher in the history of mankind.

The fact that there are people who actually support this action goes to show why America has declined as a nation and is only a shadow of its former self. draw all the parallels you like between Reagan and Caesar and yourself. compare Pfeiffer to an insane wannabe assassin, too. let's chalk that up to literary licence, presenting extremes as examples to drive home a point.
but when you bring RL religion into the game, especially as you have in this and other articles, this pushes well past literary licence. "God is on our side" is a classic, well worn and widely recognized to be just plain wrong, lowball propaganda tack, and is an insult not only to Christians but to anyone who takes their RL spiritual path seriously.
I hope that players will recognize the use of Biblical text and imagery in a game as blatant and disrespectful manipulation, the lowest form of propaganda, and withdraw support for this or any candidate who utilizes this tactic.
