Join the new world

It is the 3rd February and in several days, 11nd President of eBelgium (since the independence) will be elected. I will keep you all up to date with interviews, pictures and facts. And on the elections day with some temporary results.
But now, the candidates are in hurry to get as much as possible votes. Here is one candidate:

Q:Are there hugh changes coming if you are elected?


LvL: These elections could bring us a period of transition. The last Country Presidents have done a very good job and I would like to work in the continuity.

However, I've currently interesting talks with some players I would like to work with in the Cabinet if I would get elected. We think about some reforms for the best interests of the Country and its Citizens.

Those potential projects will be explained in my manifesto today or tomorrow and every one who wanted to get involved could suggest some ideas he/she has: they would be listened carrefully.

I am not the best eBelgian politician, but I have a lot of good will and desire to work in perfect cooperation and full respect of each, so I do hope People, Congress and Government would be able to work as a strong and effective team.

If I could be a president rallying and unifying, then I would be very proud and happy... and if the fun may be with us, then it would be a total victory !


Q:What will you do to get our people (back) active?


LvL: We are a little Community in the eWorld, with a few Citizens. However, this Community performs good and seems welded.

Having a Babyboom would be very difficult, many former Cabinets tried it before but the success weren't in the date.

So, before thinking about it, I would really like to keep all those who work and get worry about the Nation active and giving their views and opinions.

If we could bring back here some eBelgian (IRL Belgian too... or not) who has brillant carreers or begin their eLife in foreign Countries, it would be a victory too.

We will each win if the Nation could rely on the experience of the ones and the freshness of the others !


Q:Training War, would this be a good idea?


LvL: Yeas, for sure ! It is a way to answer to your former question about the activity of our players.

Currently, despite its small size and discreet place on the international scene, thanks to the good work already done by other Cabinets, eBelgium benefits of some consideration in many other Countries in the eWorld.

We have found some very good relationships with our closest neighbours and our ambassadors are daily trying to improve them, with some success at the moment.

So I could announce you that finding a training war, with one of those countries, with which we share mutual respect and trust, would be one of my main goals !


Q:We have good relation with several countries (like France and Germany), what will you do to keep them?


LvL: You are right and as former MoFA and ambassador, I agree with you.

We must do everything possible to keep such good contacts with these Nations, that have already shown how much they are real friends and partners in this area of the eWorld.

During the last term, we have established a way to work with our ambassadors who seems to work well. We have to carry on with this method, with reliable and enthusiastic players who are each day giving ghe best of themselves.

My position of ambassador in foreign countries gives me some very interestings talks and contacts there, I hope to make them useful for the whole Country.

If we could get a better and closer cooperation with these Nations (maybe a training war or an alliance ?), then we would have succeed with this goal.


Q: Do you want to join an alliance, or do you want to stay neutral at this moment?


LvL: At the dawn of a new world with the emergence of new alliances and develop new treaties of cooperation, I am among those who think it is a nice card to play for Belgium to obtain a more prominent place on the global and world chessboard.

If neutrality has served us well before, in the new global geopolitical context, it could well belong to the past now.

Increasingly, I have never hidden my interest in the context of a European alliance.

So I guess our Country could at least take part in negociating alliances, it would be a good way to improve and expand our influence in the eWorld. We must take our chance to discover a choose our own new way...

However, nothing would be done without People and Congress approval and I already see some constructive and animated talks in our Community about this issue...


Q: Chocolate or French fries?


LvL: Damn, like a true and good Belgian, both of course !!!

My opinion about LvL:
LvL is one of the most reputable persons in eBE. If you are in eBE and you don’t know LvL, then you have a big hole in your Belgian Culture. If you vote him, you would make a good choice! The difference between LvL and shadow: LvL is (almost) never active on the IRC !
