eWorld Population: deaths, bots and multis

Citizens will remember that on Day 1,007, the global population dropped by just over 140,000 citizens. This mass-death, as it was called, was the end result of all citizens who had left eRep before the v2 launched having their health finally depleted to 0. Since Day 1,007 many additional citizens, who quit in the month following the launch of v2, have died off as well.

Today the eWorld population is about 181,000, a drop of over 160,000 since the launch of v2.

While the drop in population was primarily caused by citizens walking away from the game, there have also been significant work by the Admin over the last month to root out multi accounts and remove them. Of the estimated 40,000 multi accounts removed, the three eNations with the most multis deleted were eSerbia (~ 6,000), eIndonesia (~ 8,000) and eArgentina (~ 14,000 [over 70% of eArgentina’s population]).

Both the deaths and deletion of citizens has had a major impact on the global population standing, with the top 5 eNations loosing on average 50% of their populations.

A quick look at the top 5 eNations shows the following changes:
eSerbia : +/- 17,900, down from +/- 29,800 (38% drop)
ePoland : +/- 14,600, down from +/- 31,200 (53% drop)
eSpain : +/- 13,000, down from +/- 24,300 (46% drop)
eIndonesia : +/- 10,100, down from +/- 18,400 (45% drop)
eUSA : +/- 10,100, down from +/- 15,200 (33% drop)

eThailand

Yesterday, eThailand declared war on eSerbia. eThailand, which has been under an eIndonesian PTO control for months, declared war on eSerbia to allow the Phoenix giant access to the medium resource regions in eThailand’s north (iron and grain).

The move to Northern Thailand was not part of eSerbia’s original plans when they began occupying regions in South East Asia, however their primary goal; to move to the high-titanium region of Northern Territory, Australia; was blocked by eIndonesia for sentimental reasons.

eBosnia and Herzegovina

For the forth time in the last two weeks, eBosnia and Herzegovina (eBiH) has launched a resistance war in its eSerbian occupied region of Brcko District. The resistance war, which was stated by well known eBiH citizen ZILGOR ST, will attempt to use time as its primary advantage.

While past resistance wars for the region have had their final hour of conflict end in prime time for the European nations, this one will instead wrap up in the morning in Europe, thus making is harder to mobilise troops for RL Serbians. However the timing falls in the evening for Asia thus the eNation most able to mobilise allies from Asia will garner the best advantage on the battlefield.

The battle for Brcko district is slated to wrap up at 23:00 eRep time.
