AngryMobman For Yorkshire And Humberside

Day 1,097, 12:02 Published in Canada Canada by 00AngryMobMan00

Hey eCanada!

Yes, you read right. This time around for the November 25th congressional elections, I will
be running in Yorkshire and Humberside; in one of eCanada's more "recent additions" - under the "EPIC" party (I thank EPIC many times for letting me run).

I certainly hope I am not alone in saying this, but this time around, I hope that I (as well
as every other member of elected congress), brings the progress and "much needed" revisions
that eCanada so desperately needs in these troubling times.

What Do I Plan On Doing In Congress?

1) Confront the issue of a "conflict of interest"
-Already right now, Congress declares at the start of every term "conflicts of interest",
which is a great start, but we still are not cracking down hard, in my opinion, on people
that are voting on bills that pertain to their group

-The whole idea of a congressional conflict of interest (in voting situations), is that
someone who is a part of a specific group (let's say for example, CAF), is automatically
forced to vote "abstain" (a.k.a. "No Vote") on a law/vote that directly pertains to (in this
case) the CAF - this would be made uniform for all congress members, of all groups
-As Acacia Mason mentioned

HERE
, he is planning on stopping the conflict of interest on voting - of which I would
personally like to help with
-I for one support this movement, as this will create a more non-biased/impartial
legislative system

2) Help Revise Our Constitution
-The constitution is one of -if not the- most important document in our country, as it helps guide the rest of our laws in some way, shape, or form
-Currently, the constitution is very cluttered, jumbled, and even a little hard to read/understand in some cases, which is why it needs to be shortened down, and simplified (whilst still being direct and to-the-point), almost like how the eRepublik laws were shortened and simlified
-A bunch of unnessesary arguments are caused nowadays, simply because of misinterpretation of the constitution, as well as any of our other legal documents - therefore, a simpler constitution (and other laws) will help stop unnessesary "misinterpretations"

3) Keep Listening To Citizens - Keeping Their Interests In Mind
-It is too commonly forgotten, that as congress, we represent THE PEOPLE; not the political party you joined, not your fighting organization, not your company, not your best friend; but the PEOPLE... the people of eCanada who chose YOU to represent THEM
-I always try to vote as non-biased, and as "people reflectant" as possible, which is why I always encourage people to PM me their thoughts on particular situations; so I get a better reflection of the community
-That above, is why right now, I am 100% guaranteeing that every vote I make will be logged in a spreadsheet, with a full reason as to why I voted that - freely available to the public to see. The only exception would be if I vote in something that the public is unaware of - which personally I find a tad wrong, but is sometimes nessesary - would be the only time I do not log something, but the rest of the time, I would.
-I don't want to hide behind closed doors this term, which is why I am guaranteeing this!

Let's continue progressing towards the greater good of eCanada together, eCanadians!

Cheers,
and VOTE ANGRYMOBMAN IN YORKSHIRE AND HUMBERSIDE
