Advancing America in a smarter, simpler way

Day 848, 12:35 Published in USA USA by Evan Feinman

The recent AAP elections garnered more attention and activity than any party elections I can recall in my entire time playing this game. While I was an Emmanuel Cruise supporter, I can tell you quite honestly that, right now, I am more optimistic about this party's potential to really be a vehicle to improve this country than I have been in quite some time.

Myself and a number of other active party leaders met with Max McFarland, our newly elected party president last night for an hours long discussion. During the discussion it became clear that Max had a vision for our party that was potentially very powerful but that was formed without being fully acquainted with all the "facts on the ground".

While Max, in an extremely gracious move, offered to abdicate his leadership and give the party to a person of our choosing, we all decided that we shouldn't let the opportunity to work with someone this dynamic go to waste.

As of today the AAP has been completely re-structured from the ground up, mixing together ideas from Max, from our old traditions, and from - gasp - Emerick. Our new party will have Max at the top, with near total authority. Following Max is a council of eight party elders: Myself, Seeker1, Ballman, Aren Perry, Rheinlander, NoMistake, and Vincenzo Macena. This council carries out Max's policies, but has the ability to overrule his decisions by unanimous vote. Read more about it in Max's article.

That's it. Simple, elegant, straightforward, and hopefully effective leadership.

AAP members, folks who joined for this election, and the general public: If you want to be part of the new engine that drives this country get in touch with one of these council members. This is our opportunity to really improve your country and, with your help, we ARE going to make it happen.

As always, I welcome your comments.
